From a young age, AudioFire has been connected to music, he knew after his first clubbing experience in Bar Do-Me, Cape Town, that being part of the dance music scene was his future. With the 90’s underground scene taking off in South Africa, AudioFire, DJ'd at well established clubs around Cape Town, such as Delight, Nexus, G-spot and The Funktion. The vibe was fresh and left an everlasting impression.

Gaining his first experiences as a club DJ in his hometown, he knew that to develop himself further and take on bigger challenges he would need to go where the music was truly cutting edge, London. It is here that he moved through various genres and grew his network of friends and fans, performing at venues such as, Scala, Mass, Camden Palace, Rocket Club to name a few and held down residencies at the Viaduct in Vauxhall and a small but always packed club in London Bridge.

Not content with settling down just to DJ he decided to take things to the next level and focussed on learning music production at the prestigious Point Blank music academy. After a two year intensive course focused on sound design, composition, engineering, production and the art of mixing, he graduated with a diploma and since then he has been working tirelessly composing tracks, remixes and collaborating with a wide array of artists shaping his characteristic sound. His first two releases featured on an album for Deckajam (an electronica band from UK rave scene and household name Kevin Energy) and his original track "All of the lights" was remixed by the very talented Michael Stonebank Monstercat, A.K.A. Rocket Pimp. Other remixes include, 'Serena Ryder - Stompa' and 'Tibby Young - Dance to the beat'.

Fast forward 20 years to Origin festival, South Africa 2015. As a personal guest of global trance legend Sonic Species, it was here where he fell in love with the PSY Trance scene, from the promoters to the artists, the people and of course the music, he now dedicates his time to writing and producing trance and has created the act we all now know as AudioFire.

As a bonus, the legendary DJ Bim joined Drukverdeler in doing a remix of Aquila's track Section IX. Some quality tunes that have been blasting dancefloors around Europe for a few months already.
