#cerebralpalsy #disability #wheelchair  Words by Bryan Lamont, lyrics adapted to music by me, Skarni, 'Super Ride' was recorded at Escarpment Sound near Fergus, Ontario, Canada. Bryan is a life-long friend living with cerebral palsy. When he made a shout-out for someone to put his poetry to music during the dark days of the pandemic, I took it up. 

At last, we were in the studio in October 2024 with thanks to the amazing supporters that made Bryan's dream a reality, recording HIS song. 

Performing often as 'Jimmy's Old Time Radio Show', providing concerts to long-term care and retirement homes across Canada, I love how Bryan's song relates to my everyday audiences. We hope 'Super Ride' will benefit those living with disabilities and break down barriers.

Skarni’s third original release drops summer 2019.  By Brian Hewson at Escarpment Sound, it features 11 songs spanning Skarni’s life, from tunes conceived during recent tours back to his earliest melody as a child in the crib.  It features lyrical and vocal contributions from his kids too, while augmented by the talents of Zeneli Codel, Peter X Anthony and Ron Sheinberg.
