London-based newcomers, Ordinary Mornings, are at the start line of their journey, hoping to etch their name in their audience sub-conscious as energy providers, and good-time lovers.

The DJ and production duo are childhood friends who grew up with a mutual appreciation for the eclectic and have loved sharing and immersing themselves in music together.

As DJs and producers, the pair draw influence from House, Trance, and Balearic to name a few. They channel a free-spirited energy and invest time in finding and providing sounds that will bring people together. 

After kicking things off in 2022 with guest mixes for Pleasure Voyage and Dream Chimney, Ordinary Mornings intends to maintain this upward trajectory, playing across the UK, and Europe, and releasing their debut EP this year.

🐱 Our second Tiger Tape of the month is a unique take from our usual musical offerings. Gabriele brings her signature blend of deep, minimalistic, and enthralling music to this mix.

Originally from Lithuania and now based in Berlin, Gabriele had her first encounter with music at an early age. Dance, in particular, had a profound impact on her, becoming the catalyst for her active involvement in the electronic music scene during her late teenage years. Transitioning from being a dance and music enthusiast to running a small club in Klaipeda, she went on to perform at renowned venues like 1986 Gallery and Ole Festival, eventually becoming a resident DJ at Radio Vilnius.

Over the years, Gabriele's sound has undergone an evolution, but it has consistently maintained a deep and immersive quality that she ardently seeks in every track she selects.

Life brings us artists like Marco, so we wanted to bring him to the people. We believe that while sitting on this red Sofa he will make music lovers and not so much of music lovers enjoy this trip from their homes, the subway or in the countryside if required.

The long overdue revival of our mix series is finally here, with this killer edition from London via The North East's @meganleo.

Recorded live from @fabric at their Continuum party in March, Megan reopened Room 3 on Sunday afternoon while Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and others were shaking the panels in Room 1.

Many of you will know her already from regular appearances in Newcastle, holding residencies for Me Me Me, Midnight People and Cafe 1001 as well as her very own Swirl party. 

This year has seen the release of her debut EP on Me Me Me, playing shows at Pikes Ibiza and up and down the UK with more of the same in store for 2024.

It's an honour to have Megan contribute to our series and we hope you enjoy the journey 💫

Sometimes, as producers, we don’t truly know where and when inspiration comes from. That moment when a track takes shape, when a certain feeling emerges—almost by accident—it feels guided by something beyond us. A subconscious voice, rising from our consciousness shaping sound into emotion. I’ve always been fascinated by the fact that, despite daily work and using the same tools and techniques, you don’t always achieve a result. Sometimes, there’s an element that goes beyond all of this, something that makes a track truly special… and that, for me, is the unknown.

This is why the label is called Voices from the Void and it’s born to explore that hidden space, through club music.

A more groove-driven side of Jacopo, built with the dance floor in mind and the club as its natural space.

Bård Aasen Lødemel, aka Skatebård, got into techno and rave during the '90s before he became a producer of retro-futuristic disco, house, and techno. 
Hailing from a town called Ørsta on the Norwegian west coast, Lødemel moved to Bergen in the year 2000, where he quickly became part of the town's growing club scene. 
After handing over a homemade demo to Tellé Records label boss Mikal Telle, Lødemel was signed to offshoot label Tellektro in 2001. 
His first release under the name of Skatebård, a concise vinyl-only album called Skateboarding Was a Crime (In 1989), was released in 2002, and slowly but surely Skatebård's reputation started spreading beyond Norway's borders. 
Throughout his impressive career of releasing five albums and more than twenty 12-inches, he has steadily carved out his own corner of dance music with a unique flair. Traversing a range of seemingly disparate genres and emotions comes incredibly naturally to the Norwegian artist, whose music oscillates between Italo disco and raw Detroit infused house and techno. With an enviably eclectic collection of the mastery to navigate it seamlessly, Skatebård’s DJ sets offer exploratory excursions through the unknown and unexpected. From festival mainstages to intimate clubnights, Boiler Rooms and radio shows, Skatebård has captivated audiences across the globe, performing at many of electronic music’s most revered institutions.
The dynamic scope of Skatebård’s artistry extends to his work in the studio. Spanning over two decades, his impressive discography is dispersed across labels including his own Digitalo Enterprises, Sex Tags Mania and Bordello A Parigi. With a knack for balancing kitsch with elegance, Skatebård creates music that exudes an air of nonchalant fun.
