BACKGROUND:
In Dec 2021 we flew to Austin to record a track with The Song Confessional who gave us a hotel and a selection of stories from people who came to confess their sins, desires, confusions and much much more. We picked a confession and made it into a song over the course of 3 days. The entire track ended up being recorded from our hotel room after we had to cancel our studio time and live performance because of a Covid exposure. Ted had a mysterious fever but somehow managed to write lyrics and a melody in a day and then passed it to me (Adam) to flush out the instrumentals and production. It was a blurry ride fueled by constant room service and random scooter rides in the middle of the night. We called it ‘Trippy Luv’ because the story we based it on is a real fear and loathing style bender following a couple who knows how to have a good time and doesn’t mind sharing their fun or their love.

Sounds of Jazz, Avant –Garde, Middle Eastern, South American, Afro-Cuban folk, Soul, Funk, and electronic minimalism, can be heard in his compositions, his singing, his dj sets, and his playing of instruments, whether in their pure form or intertwined with down, mid and up-tempo electronic treatments.  
Ultimately, simplicity is what Eduardo strives for.  An effort is always made to have a fresh organic sound while inevitably providing touches of technological advances shaping music today, never overwhelming and always sophisticated and tasteful.

Eduardo's mission is to always become a storyteller from beginning to end. Every record he plays has a very important intention. The music in his selections does not just fill time, it weaves in and out with dynamic and texture. The music, and his improvisational live remixing, are brush strokes on a canvas that once he's reached the end, will look like a world of realism and fantasy all in one. He's a master at layering the musical with the technical and the surreal with the real.
Eduardo always leaves an indelible mark with his style and impeccable understanding of his environment.

In the song, I was thinking about breathing time in and out like air, like all sharing the same moment, passing it around. The clip wasn't intentionally some kind of tribute to the club, but as it came together those same thoughts of eternity in a crowded room just kept ending up in the edit, to the point where I just cut in old phone videos of memorable nights. I guess I miss the feeling and the video is a walk through that.
