Just so you know, me uploading this frequently is not a common thing - making this was a spur-of-the-moment event.

I was in the process of getting stems and acapellas for a different Mambo Number 5 mashup I was going to make in the far future when I suddenly realized that Mambo Number 5 and Scatman's world kinda sorta might go together. I tried it out and, yeah, after some crude work in Audacity, they DO go together. But I don't have any interest in finishing this, given that it would compete with my limited upload time. That being said, I think a full version that was high-effort would be RAD, and so I hand the mantle of responsibility to someone else who is more qualified than me.

(This post was also inspired by @daymanoursavior and their latest post, which was a Scatman meme.)

EDIT AS OF DECEMBER 2022: I guess this take aged well.

I think a lot of it is fine. There's also the matter of separating the art from the artist, which I sort of have trouble with for Kanye, since Kanye West does not seem to be a very nice or considerate person. So yeah.

Real mashup next weekend - I've just been visiting my family, so I haven't had much time to make something substantial.
