LAGOS TOWN

This is a my first native album which should be released this January to help create awareness and realization of good and original music being produced from a small suburb in SEKONDI-TAKORADI, called LAGOS TOWN.  The theme for the EP is based on how, everyone should keep doing what they're doing knowing life's a journey and it does get better,  regardless how tough it may seem at the present moment. 

This is a full Hip-hop EP with astonishing touch of Soul. The EP had 9 songs recorded but only 5 could make it to the EP and since I didn't want to take from the people what I promised to give, I had the rest of it wrapped up as an Extra on the EP.  It consist of 4 songs. The Extras should be out at least 5 days before the EP . This EP is purposely made for SEKONDI-TAKORADI and I am targeting the youth across Ghana trying so hard to come up from the bottom or just finding a way to strive to get better (Mostly Males).

After releasing his first single this year; M’akoma, to critical acclaim including two awards at the 4syte TV Music Video Awards, Pappy released ‘No Way’ in September to rave reviews as well. ‘Abena’ is Pappy Kojo’s third single off his upcoming EP. This song is another Guilty Beatz production and takes inspiration from the classic Marvin Gaye hit ‘Sexual Healing’. The song also features fellow award-winning artists Mr Eazi and Bisa Kdei who chanced in on Mr Eazi recording his verse, he loved the vibe so much that he could not help but lend his trademark voice to the song. 

The song is now available on iTunes, Spotify and all other major music platforms.

‘Abena’ is an ode to all the beautiful women in the world. Pappy Kojo’s quest towards global recognition is well on its way with this collaboration with two seasoned 
international acts .

Ghanaian young talented rapper Kofi Jamar, who hails from Bantama,Kumasi has unfolded yet another impressive performance from the Kumerica Invasion Project.

In recent times the drill scene in Kumasi, Ghana, popularly known as “Asakaa” has become a focal point in the Ghana music industry and has gained wide recognition internationally, mostly in the UK. This new wave is presenting a change to the narrative and turning media attention to the Garden city of Kumasi.
 The set to be released song , "EKORSO" talks about the street grind and also portrays the resilient spirit of the youth's ambition to win regardless of the circumstances in which they find themselves in.In a new viral video sighted on twitter, Kofi Jamar was seen working on a new project which features Yaw Yog and Ypee which is said to be released on November 27, 2020.  

Kofi Jamar is a Ghanaian rapper, singer and a songwriter from Bantama, Kumasi. Kofi Jamar first gained major recognition when he contested for a freestyle rap competition on one of the biggest radio stations across the Kumasi metropolitan. He emerged as the winner and was crowned as one of the best rappers in the region at just 18 years old. Since then Kofi Jamar has teamed up for high profile collaborations and has released records with Ghanaian based record label GADone Records.
