Amazing live performance by Earth, Wind and Fire. The group were in the midst of change from the original band that recorded two albums for Warner Brothers to what would become their regular line-up.

The performance was recorded for the ground breaking, WNET TV show Soul! It was broadcast on January 10th, 1973. Featured in this recording were:

Lighthearted tune. It grew out of an attempt to replicate the snare from a .mod file from the game "Lyle in Cube Sector" using pulse and noise. It's early, I know, but I suppose it's got a little bit of Christmas spirit in it. Done with LSDJ in BGB. My mindset was a bit more on the "video game music" style, which explains the near non-existence of a kick drum (mostly just a little oomph! to the bass).

Some might say I didn't put enough love into the kicks and hi-hats as I did with the snare, but... I think they serve their purpose. It's not a heavy dance tune or anything. If you hear anything lacking, feel free to tell me what exactly it is. I like CC. I may not change this tune, but it will help me in the future.

Something a little different. Sometimes I have weird ideas and need an outlet for them. A bit of a heavy dragging tune with a strong beat, done with 1xLSDJ in BGB. Samples ripped from an example song from the Win95 music-making program "SoundClub" by www.Bluemoon.ee.

SoundClub was my first introduction to sample-based music sequencing, and it has some really nice sounds.

I sometimes like to put interesting things in my ki-bass tables.

Now that COVID-19 has made thinking about death and living more accessible, I made an album on gameboy based on the concept of escaping from the desire to live and die.

For the artwork, I asked my favorite pixel artist toyoya to draw two rooms (a bright room and a dark room) in pixel art on one artwork.

Because in COVID-19, the more people in a room, the more you have to be aware of death when moving from room to room, and I wanted to immerse myself in the music even in such situations.
I also wanted to be able to express the feeling of being alive and dead in two rooms.

And since I alternated between sunny and not-so-sunny rooms in my home to make this album, I thought the album artwork and title would be a good fit.


COVID-19で死や生きることを考えることが身近になった今、「生きたい」「死にたい」という欲望からの脱却をコンセプトに、ゲームボーイでアルバムを作りました。

アートワークは、大好きなピクセルアーティストのtoyoyaさんにお願いして、1つのアートワークに2つの部屋（明るい部屋と暗い部屋）をピクセルアートで描いてもらいました。

というのも、COVID-19では部屋の中にいる人数が多いほど、部屋から部屋へ移動する際に死を意識しなければならないので、そんな状況でも音楽に没頭したいと思ったからです。

あとは、2つの部屋の中で生きているときと死んでいるときの感覚を表現できるようにしたかったのです。

そして、このアルバムを作るために自宅の中で日当たりの良い部屋とそうでない部屋を交互に行ったり来たりしていたので、アルバムのアートワークとタイトルがしっくりくると思いました。

Epically failed at submitting this to noisechannel.org 's "LSDJ Showdown" because I only exported and uploaded 25 seconds worth of it, LOL *facepalm*. 

Totally a made up word based on the feeling of the tune but it turns out "QRAM" is actually a thing, so let's pretend that's what this is about, hmm?

Also, I've been playing way too much Just Dance 4 lately... >_>

A submission for noisechannel.org 's "LSDJ Showdown". It's pretty vanilla and no limits pushed, but still, I like the vibe. I wanted to go for softer textures in the NOI channel with this one, and used a whole lot of Exx commands versus new Instrument Note triggers. 

I wanted to make something that could possibly fit into the soundtrack for the new "SSX" game. Kinda chill, but with a little bit of urgency still. 

Named after "a star" from looooong ago who was very beautiful, courageous, and possibly had ambiguous ethnic features. Also, Myrtle. 

Probably WIP if I ever get back around to it...
