The Fifth Runway, located in a pub filled landscape populated by disgruntled workers. Made up of entirely original music, narrative and scripted conversations, each radio broadcast follows the protagonist, a writer of prose and poetry, who inhabits a single room above The Fifth Runway, a pub under threat of demolition. This room acts as an observatory for the writer.

We are situated within one of the world’s largest and most diverse music archives. Our collections cover many aspects of the music industry, dating from its tin-foil origins in 1877 up to 1946. In addition to material relating to our musical heritage, we also preserve artefacts associated with EMI’s achievements in television, radar, and medicine.


Championing the new wave of electronic art.

Presenting Greater West London's theatre 'Sketch Showcase' for 91.8 Hayes FM on the Drive Time show. This first aired in the summer of 2012 in association with the annual Hillingdon Artsweek festival. Features include comedy sketches from local theatre groups and interviews from 'Purple Theatre Company' 'Players 2'  the Ealing 'Beaufort Players' and well known writing sketch group, the 'Errors of Comedy' from Questors theatre.

A community project to the famous HQ of 'His Master's Voice' (HMV music) at the UK's biggest record factory and birthplace of electrical inventions at EMI Electric Musical Industries which broadcasts on 91.8 Hayes FM across the London Borough of Hillingdon.
