I always found it hard to focus on one genre when recording a mix, especially when I recognize what I feel inside of myself right now. Josh Bobzin (he/him) has been carving out dancefloors since a decade now, while switching permanently between DJ, promoter and dancer. He draws his selections from a wide range, always putting in warm layers and adding cheeky stuff. You will rarely hear a set sticking to one genre or being played in carpet-style. What started with illegal raves in off locations, countless open airs or small club events in his homebase Hamburg has finally lead to Flugmodus. With his friends from Lüneburg the crew quickly entered Hamburg and set the bar high for full-on rave experiences. In 2020 he co-founded Fluid Festival, which celebrated its premiere in June 2022. Under his alias Recorded Future he explores the ambient and deep side of things. Club sets are rather an atmospheric journey between deep techno, tribal and trance. Together with Smuseb he started rundum.club, which curates House and Techno artists in daytime and nighttime formats with the goal of achieving a safer/braver space for marginalized communities. His most recent project is Transmute, where Carl aka rh-rn and Josh create an intimate space to enjoy ambient & experimental music.

Sabla (@sabla) is a project born and raised in Turin, devotely committed to the study of hypnotic sounds and polyrhythmics. He’s co-founder of Gang of Ducks (@gang-of-ducks), a collective which takes care of music releases, editorial issues and art projects. In November 2021 he has released his first album, Music for Melted Floors, on Pensaments Sònics, a new project run by the team of Hivern Discs.

We are finally approaching summertime, which often brings intense warmth, vibrant festivals, longer days, and lots of dancing during the nights. 
We are here with a small treat for your resting time, a smooth chill vibe with this mix by @Seb_Alcachofa.

The podcast is related to a warm up set recording in March 2023, at one of the Confluence by Lowless parties in Paris. Alcachofa had the chance to share the decks with @neel, @wata and @akobmusic for this night and was in charge of the opening. Knowing that the party would last for 9h, his aim was to start very slowly, playing mostly ambient tunes. Although mainly ambient,  Alcachofa wanted to have in his set a lot of variations and a strong emotional feeling. This is actually the first part of this trip, hope you will enjoy it. 

Alcachofa is a Paris based artist, member of @lowless-music and experienced party launcher. His passion for music brings him to explore many different genres, from ambient and noise to deep sounds and more ravy tunes. He is constantly looking for the right tune to play at the right moment, always keeping in mind to bring a lot of emotion to his audience.
