Sombre, puissant, rythmé, les adjectifs ne manquent pas pour définir cet EP résolument techno du DJ Français. Entre l’orage radioactif et la pluie acide, on se sent transporté dans un univers parallèle désolé, aride et obscur, recelant de nombreux mystères non-élucidés. On se sent dès le début pris dans un tourment de basses profondes nous retournant telles des lames de fond sournoises, accompagnées de leur lot de sirènes aux mélodies tranchantes et meurtrières.
Vous l’aurez compris,pour sa cinquante et unième sortie,Boxon Records ne fait pas dans la dentelle avec cet EP résolument sombre qui vous fera penser que les utopies et les bisounours, c’est fini.
Présent sur la scène électro depuis 2005, Skinlips offre une techno sournoise agrémentée de rythmiques écrasantes.
En mars 2012,son premier Maxi « Shock » sorti chez ThAF Records reçoit un grand nombre de soutiens tant dans le monde de l’électro que dans le monde de la musique en général. Ses morceaux ont été joués par Gtronic, Proxy, Cyberpunkers, Far Too Loud, The Oddword ou encore Tom Deluxx.
Après un deuxième Maxi « At the Drop » toujours chez ThAF Records, il gagne de l’expérience en tant que DJ en jouant à Fuse (Bruxelles), Egg (Londres), Yip Yab (Munich) ou même le 101 (Clermont- Ferrand) et en partageant la scène avec Boys Noize, Len Faki, BirdyNamNam, Oliver Hutermaan, Beat Torrent, Tom Deluxx et Technasia.
Son EP « Zone 51 » sortira le 21 avril chez Boxon Records.

Dark, powerful, rythmic,adjectives lack to define precisely this techno-oriented EP from the French DJ. Between a radioactive storm and acid rain, we feel transported to a desolated universe, dry and gloomy, rich from unclarified mysteries. It takes us into a torment of deep bass sounds tearing us like tidal waves coming along with their mermaids singing deadly melodies.
Boxon Records’ fifty first realease is not for weak-hearted. This firmly dark EP will help you realise that the fairytale is over.
Present on the electro scene since 2005, Skinlips delivers an insidious techno brightened up by crushing rythms.
In March 2012, his first Maxi, « Shock », out on ThAF Records, is critically acclaimed and fully supported by the electro scene as well as the general music scene. His track have been played by Gtronic, Proxy, Cyberpunkers, Far Too Loud, The Oddword or even Tom Deluxx.
After his second Maxi, « At the Drop », still on ThAF Records, he gains experience as a DJ by playing gigs at Fuse (Brussels), Egg (London), Yip Yab (Munich) and the 101 (Clermont-Ferrand) and sharing the stage with Boys Noize, Len Faki, BirdyNamNam, Oliver Hutermaan, Beat Torrent, Tom Deluxx and Technasia.
His EP « Zone 51 » will be out on April the 21st on Boxon Records.

From Grenoble in France, Stuff incarnates the revival of the French Underground House scene, alongside fellow countrymen Phil Weeks, DJ W!LD, Dan Ghenacia and Shonky.  Since 2007 he has also been associated with the great names in his local scene: Miss Kittin, Acid Washed, Oxia, Kiko and more.  It cemented his love of House music, “House for me is the sexiest music alive, with a raw sound, it doesn’t need too many words, it's all about this groove, no need to be too complicated, it's the good rhythm, the good tempo, that grow up slowly during a set...it's like sex!”

Since his debut releases on David Carretta’s label Space Factory, Stuff has refined his sound to focus on House and the low Miami bass sound.  His sound reflects what we dig at I’m A House Gangster, and the Frenchman has his own take, “For me the gangster sound is when you are not afraid about dirty sounds, naughty basslines and groovy drums! For me the House Gangster is not only about the music, it's a culture, house music came from the street and need to still be alive there...especially today everybody want to sound "house"... but it's not real house!”

His Gangstercast shows Stuff representing all of his influences and musical background, “it’s somewhere between house, techno, electro or disco without limits and no compromising, only the music I love. It's exactly the kind of set I love to play - with old classics (reminds me my young days when I was too young to party) and new bombs with the same spirit, gangster, sexy, the classics drums that i love.  And I love the old conception about deejaying, to start softly, put the ambience, and step by step apply a pressure.”

Stuff’s next productions will appear on a label compilation released by HNQO/Play Per View, and he has also been approached by Amine Edge who will release another track on a compilation.

Stuff concludes, “I’m so Proud to be part of this family, DJ Sneak is like a Legend for me and all the artist inside this [Gangstercast] series are really representative of my sound today, so it's like a humble tribute and a big thanks to all of them and especially to my French friends Amine Edge and DANCE.”

So, come its remix of "Vulcan" for Jackin With The Drums, released 30th April 2012 on We Blast Out Records.
The second Maxi is "At the drop" released on THaF Records in August 2012 with the remix by doctR and Jackin With The Drums.
