Skinloop Robotica (formerly Monkey Business)

I started out making music in my own name—just me, a notebook, and a cheap mic, teaching myself as I went. Back then, I didn’t know what “production” meant, but I knew how it felt to turn pain into sound. Later came Monkey Business, a space where I experimented freely, mixing folk, indie pop, and early lo-fi beats while figuring out who I was as an artist.

Now, it’s evolved into Skinloop Robotica—a hybrid sound built on human voice and machine collaboration. Every track starts with me: I write the melody, sing it into Suno, build the instrumental skeleton, and then move it into BandLab to layer harmonies, textures, and my own live vocals—sometimes twice, sometimes three times over. I use my Kits.ai vocal model not to replace my voice but to blend with it, keeping the imperfections, keeping the breath. I don’t remove the AI—I fold it into the mix until it sounds alive.
