Skip Frontz Jr. began his career as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter at age 13 and playing out at 17. After joining the United States Navy in 2002, he continued composing and playing with multiple bands (when not out to sea) until his service ended. After that, music was the only thing that mattered.

In 2009, he relocated to Austin, TX to tour with and back multiple bands learning from the most advanced players in the Lone Star State. Cut to 2015, He and Sampire have burned more miles around the world than time spent in one place... and has no intention of stopping. If there's white lines in the middle, you'll find him there playing his brand of "Swingin' Roots Rock and Roll" which is an amalgamation of his own creation, blending multiple genres while still painting a series of pictures with his rapid fire, yet story-like lyrics. Whether it's on the dance floor or behind the wheel, Skip Frontz Jr.'s music will keep your hips a shakin' and your body quakin'. Oh Baby!
