In this installment of Sound Advice, we speak with Noizu, who has made waves since debuting on Skrillex’s HOWSLA compilation in 2017, and moving from London to Los Angeles. After meeting his mentor, Chris Lake, Noizu released one hit after another; from “LFO” and “Wavey” to his remix of DJ Snake’s “A Different Way,” and singles like “Summer 91 (Looking Back)” and “Dancing In The Dark.” In this exclusive interview, Noizu spoke about making it in the American dance music scene, his production, Techne label and upcoming Las Vegas residency, and the role that SoundCloud has played throughout his career.
