Up next in my B2B Producer Series for House Fusion Radio, Episode 42 [broadcast FRI 3RD OCT] featuring my very special guest and friend MC Alpha Bee (Ghent BE/Morocco) ... a one-of-a-kind DJ/Producer who for years has been a brilliant and busy bee in the Underground, creating truly unique Afro House and Tribal beats, with Deep, Tech, and Minimal ... all mixed to perfection with his signature style of Hip Hop sampling.  His brilliant 1HR 'Rebirth of the Light' set he submitted has been on heavy rotation at home, and in my headphones here on the streets of Hong Kong these last few weeks. Following up an MC Alpha Bee set is no easy task to be sure. Had a blast digging through the crates for just the right tracks to do the tall job to match his outstanding creativity and intensity.  Using obscure samples from a wide range of media, his shows and mixes are handcrafted with love to be heard and understood as storytelling, giving us the essence of the originals, but crafting them like paragraphs in the chapters of the book he's reciting. I started DJing in the early 90s and bought my first Technics 1200er when I was 16. At the right time I was playing in a small club called Grooveclub and we could feel the beginning of the house and techno scene in Germany. Many sleepless nights followed. As a visitor, I traveled through the club scene in Germany and visited clubs like Distillery, Muna, Tresor, Aufschwung Ost, Mach 1 and so on. This inspired me to organize my own small parties as an organizer, booker and manager. At the end of the 90s I gave up my most important hobby, a mistake I later found. In 2016 I started DJing again and I'm looking for the opportunity to perform in a club with 100 to 300 people or a good radio show. At the end of 2020 I started producing a few small tracks and am looking for a label that will give me the chance to show what I can. We'll see what comes next and I'm in good spirits.
