With Helter Skelter, the London-based DJ and producer Bailey Ibbs lands his debut on VOITAX. After having released a variety of tunes on labels such as Practical Rhythms and Dansu Discs, including the launch of his label - Night Service, the ambitious young talent keeps adding to the newer UK Garage scene. With the VOI 026 Bailey demonstrates once again that he has proven himself to be a serious representative that yet doesn’t seem to bind himself to any particular genre. Evidence Found No​.​1 is an Anniversary compilation curated by the London Based label Little Beat Different. Featuring the likes of “Dempa” and “Regular Customer” as well as some found favorites, this compilation is driven by a powerful roster. One of the most notable tracks, “Break & Enter III” by Varum, exhibits a particularly authentic tone. Hailing from Leipzig, Germany, Varum has crafted a unique sound; blurring the lines between lo-fi house and techno.

The first noticeable thing about “Break & Enter III” is its organic textures and raw aesthetic. Varumʼs dark and gritty formula fuses a tight breakbeat pattern with lush and spacious pads, which creates an oddly nostalgic atmosphere. The 7- minute track meshes multiple motifs, each section carrying a slight variation of the main melody, which reads as somewhat of mini-mix. Aside from the songs structure, the production is top notch. The breakbeatʼs muted Hi hats and snares provide a stark and clever contrast to the glistening synths. “Break & Enter III” is a breath of fresh air when compared to todays polished EDM tracks, and will provide the perfect, fierce, crescendo for a set-closing track.

He specialises in rave-influenced sounds, Chicago house, and disco, but his 20-year career has ranged from jungle to footwork to freestyle (he literally has it all!). His strong reputation as a ‘genre bending’ producer is one that is fully deserved and he proves just that in this record. Introducing the Various Artists Blodyn EP, a compilation of tracks from UK artists in order to raise money for the MuslimHands: Palestine &amp; Gaza Appeal. The EP complies of deep moving breakbeats, heart-warming vocals and shuffling 2-steps, a variation of moods and emotions for any dance floor or kitchen.

Decades of instability and the ongoing Israeli blockade has left families on the Gaza strip and the West Bank unable to enjoy the most basic of human rights such as access to food, water and medical treatment. Muslim Hands has been working in Palestine since 2007, providing medical care, food, education and livelihoods support to families across Gaza and the West Bank. All proceeds from the Various Artists Blodyn EP will be donated to this cause.
