Inspired by a visit to Joshua Tree National Park in February 2022, this piece captures a day in the park through music. Marihito was deeply moved by the park's stunning natural beauty and the haunting images of its unique plant life, as captured in the photographs of Hiroyuki Seo.

今作は2022年2月にJoshua Tree 国立公園を訪れた際に感じた自然のあまりの美しさ、不思議な植物の残像と、またその体験をすくいとったかのような写真家、瀬尾宏幸氏の作品から影響を受け、Joshua Tree 国立公園の1日を音で表現したものとなっている。

With releases on Scissor and Thread, Kompakt or Dial  Soela moves fluidly between house, dub techno, and experimental electronica. Collaborations with Philipp Priebe, Steve O’Sullivan, and Module One reveal her instinct for connection — sound as dialogue, rhythm as language.

Based in Berlin, born in Russia, she builds bridges between warmth and restraint, memory and momentum. Every track, every set — a quiet conversation that lingers.
