Ahead of the Machine shows at Razzmatazz, Barcelona on 22nd of Feb and Fabrik, Madrid on 23rd Madrid, I thought I'd share the recording of my last visit to Fabrik for the mighty Code's 15th Anniversary.

Enigmatic Mancunian duo AnD bring a dynamic and raw take on modern techno. The two maintain strong analogue production ethics and showcase this with the ep, pushing each track into more melodic realms, while retaining the uncompromising AnD attitude towards the dance floor.

Added a 6U Rackbrute and am exploring modular with the Neutron and Minibrute. Several other modules on the way. The Eventide Rose is just fun for days!  Eventide H9 adds some light Shimmer verb.

Each oscillator is tuned to a different pitch playing an inverted major chord with a bass root note.  Relying on the looping EG of the Minibrute for the swells and the sequencer to change the root note.  The Minibrute's LFO is inverted in to a ramp to ping the filter.  The Neutron's LFO is morphing the oscillator shapes between sawtooth, square, and short pulse to add harmonics.

Funniest part is that I can swear that as the house is cooling off in the evening that I can hear the oscillators start to go slightly out of tune.
