Surprise release! Here is my take on "Seven Lions - Only Now ft. Tyler Graves". It's not much, but I had a lot of fun dancing to this one, and I hope you do too!

Never been truly proud of my mixdowns. I am doing my best to stop my obsession with reaching perfection and lingering on to that limbo stage for too long. I have accepted that my mixing skills are just not up to par. However, my production skills is one thing I'm confident in (for the most part), and I truly enjoy what I make, so I hope you at least enjoy that side of my work, while I continue to strive to improve and move forward. Seven Lions - Only Now ft. Tyler Graves (VVN Remix)

“Parasite” is about the subconscious, unsettling allure of self destruction within us all. The parasite is the darkness inside that tells us to numb the pain, to self medicate, to run full speed toward instant gratification. This song is about the daily battle we wage inside ourselves against dissociation, addiction, and the forces of annihilation.

Before ending up as a curiously perfect super-collab between the aesthetic minds of frequent co-conspirators AWAY, Roniit, and Crywolf, “Parasite” initially began as an experimental private writing exercise for Roniit. Her goal was to make a song in one night with absolutely no boundaries, standards, or regard for external factors or branding. What came out was raw anger - an emotion rarely heard in the writing or production of Roniit’s typically ethereal music. After hearing the scratch track, AWAY immediately heard the potential and asked to work with it, bringing his mastery of his signature dark and distorted style, quickly developing it into a full track that blew away both of their expectations. Feeling like something was missing from the end, AWAY and Roniit brought in Crywolf, who helped perfect the writing, and jumped in to craft an ending section that takes the last portion of the song into his own dark world, a final plummet into the void.

The masked artist, Skrybe, is an electronic music producer from Melbourne, Australia. A classically trained trumpet player, his love for music has grown strongly since picking up the instrument and has flourished into the aesthetic of the music he now produces.

Studying music composition has led to an exploration of dynamics; emotion and expression, before fat basses and hard hitting beats. Skrybe works with colour and texture, expressing feelings as primary influences for his music, rather than specific timbres or production styles. Much of his music is built around the intricate characteristics of cinema, orchestral and film soundtracks. Whilst his style is primarily electronic, specialising in multiple genres which may sound familiar to some listeners, his attention to detail introduces us to a significantly different emotional context.

With an increasing presence across the electronic music scene, Skrybe’s recent highlights include charting on Beatport with his track "Aquila", releasing official remixes for QUIX, Crywolf and Unsecret, as well as playing alongside international acts, Barely Alive, Nukid and Virtual Riot

While approaching his music with an almost ‘steam punk’ like identity, Skrybe’s sound leaves us with dynamics and narratives not often explored in the electronic genre.
