Here comes a place to say big thanks to Berek aka Tzeentch who invited me to play there. You motivated me to actually start playing live and I am deeply grateful for this. You opened my music horizons up to infinity with this event in 2018 and kicked my ass to actually explore it myself. I will always remember what you did for me ;) <3

Eternal Thank You goes to Filip aka Cinnamon who was my electronic music teacher, you showed me how to express myself through sounds, how to use all that synths, programs and theories to convey the deepest message. Skrz_t live (from a festival that almost made me quit music)

Skrz_t is a project focused on exploring fairytale-like, melodical soundscapes fused with deep, immersive drone and fast, dark kick&bass. 
My background is rave underground  around psycore music, where I fell in love with bass that makes you breathless and adopted this convention into my music.
In every piece there is a story of emotional journey from chaotic mental events into consistent form of experience. Music served me as a way to protect my own autonomy and sanity in times when I was under pressure to behave, speak, look as others expected me to be. Music is always free and in music I found place, where I am free.

for the name: it comes from the word 'skrzat,' which is a mythological creature. It is something in between a gnome and a pixie from Slavic mythology. I vibe a lot with those creatures; therefore, people started calling me Skrzat, and I just converted it into Skrz_t because of how it sounds when spoken (skshat).
It sounds like a very experimental sound when I say it: skrrrrrt.
In Slavic mythology, there are many types of them, but the name is general. They are associated with values like helpfulness but are also tricksters who make jokes purely for fun. They generally live in forests or wild places but now use civilization for their purposes.
There is a fraction of home-skrzats who live with people. They are very magical and have the ability to use spells.
One can't possibly see them with the naked eye; you can only have an impression of seeing them, which leaves a specific feeling in the body and mind (as if reality just bent and left a never-answered question mark on what is real and what is not—a pure, pleasant confusion from which a golden river of inner peace flows). This is exactly what the sounds I am aiming for do.

Unless you are a fun of whatever genre it is, it might take some time to fully perceive this music due to natural and perhaps secure limitations of our brains. To the best of my knowledge default human neural network might not have specific connections and it takes time&practice to grow new which is weird but amusing process. Moreover it fights Alzheimer's. Making this music expands my own boundaries in spite of notorious thought that I don't have any

Darius is a traveling collector of sound and selector of reggae/dub and world music.

With French and Persian ancestry and growing up in Germany under the influence of several cultures and languages, he considers himself a citizen of the world and connector of its people.

The title 'King' is not meant as a symbol of supremacy or noble heritage. It is rather a reminder to himself that Darius remains a humble servant to his tribe, which is mankind, and to lead with good example to inspire acts of kindness, charity and liberation of mind & spirit.

Being a passionate music festival attendee for over 15 years and continuously exploring the diversity of the magical universe that is music, he made it his mission to travel the world and to share his collection of conscious music, spreading the message of peace, love and unity.

Dance to release and heal, listen to overstand and widen your horizon, be present in the moment to feel alive and free - those are the intentions behind musical performances with King Darius.
