DJs Becar & Sunshine tried to combine together the artits who have been with us for many years along the way with authentic russian darkpsy and forest tracks, supporting the local scene in Russia, which was a big point for the label since the first released compilation. 

Important to mention that the compilation is not about the oldschool sound, all of the tracks here are brand new cutting edge products for the night time dancefloor to fill it with a special psychedelic energy. 

We highly appreciate all the effort done by the artists, designers, mastering engineers and other participating persons and would like to say a big THANK YOU to all ever invloved. More 20 years in space to come!

Storyline:

WHAT IS MUTATION?
Any sudden change occurring in hereditary material is called as “mutation” it includes, a nucleotide changing to another, a structure changing shape and context, genetic constitution failing due to false copying and so many other genetic changes that can be counted as mutation.

Today, most scientists regard the term “mutation” as a description of a change in an individual gene, and more precisely as some minute alteration of the DNA of that gene, especially a nucleotide substitution. But the idea of mutation has changed considerably from the pre-Mendelian concepts of Darwin’s generation, who viewed “fluctuating variations” as the raw material on which evolution acted, to today’s up-to-the-minute genomic context of mutation. The mutation in the DNA can make evolution a real thing. But it is a very difficult process…

Most of the forms of mutations appear suddenly and effective in just a few generations. Yet even such seemingly "normal" characteristics such as our ten fingers or our two eyes or our relatively hairless skin (compared with that of apes) are ultimately the product of mutations that took shape over the many hundreds of millions of years during which animal life has been evolving. Evolution, in fact, is driven by mutation, along with natural selection. Unfortunately, we cannot tell when the mutation might happen, or where it might happen, or how unpleasant the mutant virus will turn out to be. Mutations are, in fact, quite coincidental…

MUTANT GENERATION!!!

Other than coincidental or evolutional mutations on the genes, there are some mutations that occur faster and effective with the cause of mutagen. All the chemical waste, nuclear energy, nuclear bombs and weapons, radiation, petrol, plastics and so many more nature- hazardous material (mutagens) that existed because of the miscalculations of human being, have caused many effects on human cells and brain. Human systems that ever existed until today and wrong life-styles are the main cause of weird mutations on many living creature on earth including humans. Wasting information and energy in the wrong fields almost proves us that the generation incapable to create their own reality, has symbolically suffered from a mental mutation. Such as Fukishima and Chernobyl disasters are long forgotten and there are three new nuclear energy plants planning to be built in our country. Instead of taking reasonable lessons from the many disasters around the world, a generation keeps on doing the same mistakes knowingly; this is showing us that it must be a very advance mutation the are suffering in their brain. It is a fact that our future generations cannot create super human abilities from their genetic and mind mutations they will have however, an alternative part of this mutant generation along with significant frequencies, can complete the intellectual evolution and create a life suitable with the planet we live on.

We hope that these experimental sounds can help to be a key to repairing of minds, which can turn mutations into evolutions...

This EP is a celebration of the people and culture of Kerala, India.
Taking inspiration from Kadhakali and the beats of chenda, this is an amalgamation of the traditional pachavadhyam and electronic music.
When I was at a traditional festival dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali in Kerala, I got to experience the divine feminine energy and the inspiration I derived from that experience is reflected in this album.
The last track Oppees is a funeral track. It is a tribute to our beloved Sanjay who left us from the dance floor in 2024. Thalam, melam, aarambham!

Skrz_t is a project focused on exploring fairytale-like, melodical soundscapes fused with deep, immersive drone and fast, dark kick&bass. 
My background is rave underground  around psycore music, where I fell in love with bass that makes you breathless and adopted this convention into my music.
In every piece there is a story of emotional journey from chaotic mental events into consistent form of experience. Music served me as a way to protect my own autonomy and sanity in times when I was under pressure to behave, speak, look as others expected me to be. Music is always free and in music I found place, where I am free.

for the name: it comes from the word 'skrzat,' which is a mythological creature. It is something in between a gnome and a pixie from Slavic mythology. I vibe a lot with those creatures; therefore, people started calling me Skrzat, and I just converted it into Skrz_t because of how it sounds when spoken (skshat).
It sounds like a very experimental sound when I say it: skrrrrrt.
In Slavic mythology, there are many types of them, but the name is general. They are associated with values like helpfulness but are also tricksters who make jokes purely for fun. They generally live in forests or wild places but now use civilization for their purposes.
There is a fraction of home-skrzats who live with people. They are very magical and have the ability to use spells.
One can't possibly see them with the naked eye; you can only have an impression of seeing them, which leaves a specific feeling in the body and mind (as if reality just bent and left a never-answered question mark on what is real and what is not—a pure, pleasant confusion from which a golden river of inner peace flows). This is exactly what the sounds I am aiming for do.

Unless you are a fun of whatever genre it is, it might take some time to fully perceive this music due to natural and perhaps secure limitations of our brains. To the best of my knowledge default human neural network might not have specific connections and it takes time&practice to grow new which is weird but amusing process. Moreover it fights Alzheimer's. Making this music expands my own boundaries in spite of notorious thought that I don't have any
