The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Kris Baha. The Queer Australian/Italian-Armenian, multifaceted artist, Kristian Bahoudian aka Kris Baha, swapped the parched red earth and searing midday sun of the Australian landscape for the brutalist communist-era apartment blocks and slate-grey skies of former East Berlin. Kris is now a fixture in Berlin’s club scene and has toured most of the world as a DJ & live artist with his own unique production style of cyber industrial, EBM, wave, post punk, and early ‘90s IDM mutations. Remixing some of the scene’s most notable artists such as Boy Harsher and techno pop lord Boys Noize, Kris has garnered respect and trust in the electronic music scene for the last 13 years. To respond to the current AI revolution Kris uploaded himself to the cyber ether through his latest project: GHOSTS IN THE MACHIИE which was released on Fleisch Records in October of 2023. In April of 2024, Kris continued the cyber theme announcing 6 dancefloor ready body melter’s on Kindcrime Records, released on May 14th. Today we're thrilled to bring you this dynamic journey through the artist's multiple sound and genre mutations.

Nico, ein local based Artist, schwirrt zwar erst seit gut einem Jahr in der Musikszene rum, doch hat jetzt schon seinen Platz in der Technoszene gefunden. 
Anfangs kochte er Hardtechno, inzwischen mischt er „groovigeres“ in der Szene zusammen. 
Groß, blond, Nackenpeitsche und ein flauschigen Oberlippenbart sind seine Markenzeichen, genauso wie die ein oder andere Seccoflasche beim auflegen.

From a need to break free from traditional clubbing practices, DYSPHORICA (mostly she/her) brings her very much needed screaming ability, to a passionate selection of tracks, where noise, distortion, raw kicks, relentless hitting drums and ear-bleeding sounds come together, under what can still be considered industrial techno. As a storyteller DJ, DYSPHORICA crafts nostalgia-inducing tales that follow the highs and lows of being in eternal battles with an idea of self. Through a transgressive and genre-defiant approach, her expression is driven by a never-ending search for meaning and new ways of feeling, both emotionally and physically. Each performance feeds from itself, working as a cathartic act, and space for learning and research.

Returning back to the club this coming weekend is one of Sweden's strongest talents, Pär Grindvik. A long standing fixture in his locale, Grindvik has worked his way up through any role he could fit himself into starting out in the city's record stores in the 90's up to founding Stockholm LTD in 2002; he's an artist that comes with bags of enthusiasm that comes through in earnest in his many DJ sets. 

His latest long player Isle Of Real revisits the formative times in Grindvik's career, taking points from the 90's era techno that he was immersed in during that time. It's a sound that we can firmly get behind and that echoes within this exclusive mix he has shared with us to get us amped for his incoming set in Room Two this Saturday night.

The 195th Global Vibe Radio voyage sees PoleGroup mainstay and Faut Section label boss Lewis Fautzi at the helm for one hour of high-intensity, trippy, mental techno.

Lewis Fautzi has had a meteoric ascension in the global techno scene like a projectile fired into space at the speed of light. Establishing the norm of releasing on well-respected labels, his discography began with a 2013 release on Soniculture followed by a lineage of releases on classic techno label Slam ́s imprint Soma Quality, including his debut LP "The Gare Album" that received consistent support and play-time from none other than Jeff Mills.

Lewis Fautzi didn't stop there. Next came releases on Len Faki's Figure, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up Recordings, BPitch Records and regular contributions to PoleGroup, a label that he now calls his home. On top of continuing to release on these esteemed imprints, Fautzi went on to launch his very own Faut Section label, all the while maintaining a busy touring schedule that sees him perform at the world's most respected techno events.

Active in the electronic scene since 2014, I started my journey in an Italian duo, and then in 2023 I started my solo project under the name of SKUMRING, founder of the Label Brutal Forms.
My sound is a journey through underground vibrations, intertwining hypnotic techno, experimental ambient and deep groove. My sound research is based on the use of analog synthesizers and modular systems, tools that allow me to build unique and immersive soundscapes.

Over the years I had the opportunity to bring my music to some of the most iconic clubs and radios of the European electronic scene, including: Tresor (Berlin)  HÖR (Berlin) Urban Spree (Berlin) HOM (Berlin) Operator Radio (Rotterdam) Kiosk Radio (Brussels) … and other clubs and radios around Europe.I have released productions on different labels in Various Artists collections, and my goal is to always push the boundaries of sound, exploring new sonic dimensions.
