The 12th release on Suffused Music was Kaan Koray's 'Heart of Africa'. It saw the Turkish producer deliver what many consider to be one of his best productions of 2013. The driving grooves and intoxicating atmospheres were magical on the dance floor and it furthered the great momentum that Suffused Music had been building as the fourth quarter of 2013 began. Seven months and 21 releases later Suffused Music now presents a brand new set of remixes for "Heart Of Africa'. The Lithuanian imprint is one of the best at melding progressive breaks and house together and this remix collection is a fine example of that. Faskil and Trukers both provide exceptional breaks interpretations with rock solid beats and a great complement of atmospheres and themes reworked from the original. Complementing the breakbeat remixes Kay-D returns to Suffused Music for his second appearance. The much loved Hungarian delivers a solid interpretation which delights the senses with an array of complex melodies and enchanting harmonics. Lastly Elliptical Sun headman Arctic Night provides a deeper, atmospheric rework which sits alongside the bigger breakbeat interpretations and Kay-D's musical masterpiece perfectly. I nearly did this remix for London Records in 2001. This is the first draft and the only version I can find. The label insisted that I add more vocals to it (which wasn't the best idea) and the final version was horrific. Fortunately for everyone, it never got released :)

Travis MacDonald & Roberto Traista - Veratrum (Original Mix)

Malta based Scott Williams makes another wonderful return to us on PHW Elements, as his latest baby “Olafs Treasure” is in for a treat this week on the label. The original, is a melancholic and deep progressive ride, just as we have seen from him in the past here on the label, among others as well. With well selected pads, energetic percussion and deep kick drums he is sure to hit you with another masterpiece, just as we expected from him. It’s always a pleasure and a winner to have Scott on the label, because of music like this.

On remix duty, we see another full line up on the label, with Atermon and Billy Alex showing their new alias Esensides for a debut on the label. With their fresh and forward thinking style, we see another stamp taking place here, and it is nothing less than “one hell of a tune” coming up. With a superb groove built up, filled with dark tweaks and flying pads, they for sure hit us with a masterpiece here, to deliver another way of seeing on “Olafs Treasure”. 

Next, we see a welcome return from Argentine producer Nicolas Petracca who once again returns to us with another strong production. With a pumping feel, more techno-ish than the previous two works, he sets a new way of getting on the move through clubs across the globe. It’s a definite winner, with high energy and drive being the idea of the track.

Closing the release, is another return to the label, as Hungarian ace Robert R. Hardy takes his tweak. He goes a bit more back to basics, with a super strong interpretation packed with a lot of feel good elements that gives it a nice swing. It’s deep with a wonderful flow delivered, and we are sure you will find another Robert R. Hardy production here, that meet your expectations, it sure does to us.

Atlantis Ocean - Bolide [REMIXED] [PHW206]

Today we are to bring you back to the early stages of the European summer season back in 2015, as the beautiful original from the Russian based act, Atlantis Ocean and their stunning track “Bolide” comes to the PHW roster in a new shape. We are delighted to bring on the “remix edition” of one of our top selling tracks for the year, making another return to us. You will get a great blend of diversity, as we see the new edition go to different corners of the progressive genre, to bring out the best of this beauty.

First up is a truly deep treat from Estonia based producer and long time progressive server, Jimmy Roqsta who makes his debut on PHW. With a warm and groovy bassline, creative pads and a streak of melodic arrangements, he delivers something that all fans of the deep and excotic progressive music definitely will take to their hearts. It’s a privilege to finally be able to bring on this talented artist to the roster. 

The 2nd rework of “Bolide” comes from a talented name that we brought back to PHW once again, and will continue to do, as Ukrainian based trance producer Skyline returns home to us. He takes the original idea to a totally different place, as he delivers a more trance inspired production, packed with energy, driving chords, and a super strong bassline. We are unbelievably happy to see him come back to us once more with this epic track.

For the 3rd remix, we see Brisbane, Australia bound quality producer Kaveesh Singh aka Veeshy deliver another “feel good” Veeshy styled production for us, and he do what he does best, deliver true class with his very unique style of music. With a superb moving structure, warm bass sounds and a superb sound on the melody, he brings his very own style on, just as we wanted and expected. We know he soon will be back with another EP for you all through PHW, so if you’re the Veeshy fan (who isn’t), then you can expect way more like this! 

We hope you will enjoy this diverse package of “Bolide”, as we are over the moon with the variety of this beauty!
