The SWINGROWERS are on a roll! (Even more so with GYPSY HILL on board!) After the incredible part 1 of their cover version EP entitled; 'DO NOT COVER' featured probably the best ever version of Paolo Conte's VIA CON ME, the Italian trio now follow it up swiftly with this gem of a homage to swing music before they return once again with part 2 of their cover version EP later this summer! Got that?

QUEEN OF SWING also features a collaboration with one of London's finest Balkan Brass outfits, GYPSY HILL whom they met backstage at the RUMPUS club one night and the single is every bit the feel-good, summertime floor-filler one would expect from that heritage. Alphadance

Part One discusses the kinetic problems that waltzing couples encountered in the face of ragtime dances and tango, the impact of World War One on social dance practices in fashionable London and the response of the press and the dance pedagogic profession to the post-war dance craze. Improvisational strategies are considered as contributory factors in the waltz's muted persistence throughout the war while throwing light on how certain social choreomusical practices might lead to the transmutation of dances into newly recognised forms. The persuasive role of London-based leaders such as Philip Richardson, Madame Vandyck and Belle Harding in these early years of modern ballroom dancing is brought to fresh attention. Part One concludes with the dance teachers’ inconclusive attempts during 1920–21 to define and recommend a waltz form compatible with both a discrete choreomusical identity and the stylistic dictates of modern ballroom dancing.

Phase precession is a neurophysiological process in which the firing of action potentials by individual neurons is timed in relation to the phase of neural oscillations in the surrounding cells. In place cells, a type of neuron found in the hippocampal region of the brain, phase precession is believed to play a major role in the neural coding of information. John O'Keefe, who later shared the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discovery that place cells help form a "map" of the body's position in space, co-discovered phase precession with Michael Recce in 1993.[1][2]

All of my "solo" series songs are made as a song for easy guitar playing, for example during a short break. So if you compare it to a novel, it is not a novel but a short story. Or perhaps it is close to hook and chat :))
"01" of "Summer Night Monologue" series was made as a prelude or trailer of the next scheduled collaboration work. In other words, I am now preparing for the next collaborative work, and I can say that I am stopping by a little way.
In summer, on this occasion, I thought it was not bad to put together a little chatting with everyone on the subject of blues.
With "02" having the same configuration as "01", the key was moved to "A7", and the essence of "01" was extracted and presented. For someone practicing guitar, I thought that "A7" is probably more familiar than "D7". And this "03" is also "A7".I do not do anything new.
This "Summer Night Monologue" is composed of 01 to 04.For that reason, I am casually presenting works at a faster pace than usual, but I pray that it will not disturb your daily musical activities :))
