Welcome back! 👋 After a short hiatus we are so happy to bring you an hour of music from the wonderful Command D (@commandd) and the 15th instalment our ever evolving FRUIT BOWL mix series 🥝

Charley aka Command D is well and truely on one at the moment. Our most recent signing, he has also just released his debut EP 'Clone Dialogue' via our friends at Body Promise. Spanning four spacious and assured tracks written during the seemingly endless lockdowns of 2021, Clone Dialogue draws in a range of influences from sound system culture to tech house, dub techno, minimal and trance 😈🙃

The mix that he's served up for us is just as considered as the EP. An exploration through tech house and minimal clicky ones with some side moments to reflect and make you move 🎛🧨

Thank you Charley for the sounds and energy, can't wait to hear this in the club on a big rig. If you know where to look i'm sure you'll find him in a smokey room near you soon 💨🏡

An extra special treat for vol. 70 of the mix series - 3 hours of tech house by Hydra Pyxis recorded live from beloved sunday party Spincycle back in May. Ruby is one of our favourite local djs and producers,  showcasing a set here that immediately transports you to the atmosphere of a Sunday morning afters party with a perfect combo of energetic and tripped out dubbier grooves. Hope you enjoy as much as we did! <3

Honoured to finally welcome Bex (@becarmstrongmusic) to the series with a live recording of her set at Spincycle on 9.10.22. 

A boss at what she does, Bex is a staple of the local scene. A loyal minimal lover, Bex’s deep and distinguished taste has been a favourite on dance floors for years. On top of being an exceptionally talented artist, Bex is also one of the most genuine and down to earth people there is  - <3 you Bec!

This recording from Spincycle (the party Bex runs alongside @terrytec) perfectly captures the bectech sound! Sleek and sophisticated with plenty of groove - 2 hours of Bex doing what she does best at the place she does it best, Killing Time. 

We are so excited to have this recording out in the world and even more excited to have Bex join us for our first party on Sun Nov 6 💖

After D Hux (@dominic-huxley) absolutely smashed warm-up duties at one of our first ever Whomps, founder Annx (@anna-rose-wirth) invited him on the ‘Sound of Whomp’ to show us what he’s got deep in his collection. 


One third of Pala Sounds party crew and mastermind behind Quarantine Vibe Checks, D Hux has put together an hour vinyl-only mix inspired by “the peak time slot bag” — selected perfectly to see in the sunrise. Tuck in to this deliciousness.
