Turn Back Time

This track is based on the true story of a few Green Berets and other service members.  They met the "Girl of their dreams" and were going to spend their lives together.  On 9/11/2001, that all changed because they volunteered to fight against the people who killed Innocent Americans in a heinous terrorist attack.  

When a few of the boys came home, the woman who "supposedly" loved them was pregnant by another dude and would beg for forgiveness and want to be taken back.  These men, who just experienced the worst the world had to offer was then crushed by their women cheating on them, when all they wanted to do was hold them again.

Many of these men, continue to kill themselves by trying to drink these disgusting women out of their memories.

This song is dedicated to all of the brothers who have taken their lives due to numbing themselves to the pain and betrayal of the women the men fought for.

These are fairytales which neither happened once upon a time, nor in an unnamed land far, far away. A simple line of practical advice that Nirgun poets have been singing through generations. 

A new format for these nouveau-fairytales, which teach us to stop looking out for material possessions, but rather, look deep within our souls to find the meaning of beauty. Beauty that we fail to see amid the turbulent storm, which passes eventually, giving way to rain, that possess the power to blossom the most beautiful gifts, without which our song remains incomplete.

Progressive/Pop Rock Band from Pune.

Skylight Vision is a six piece band which was initiated by Aniket, Bhushan and Gaurav in late 2013. Aniket had composed a couple of songs few years back as a creative outlet and when realized the potential, started "Skylight Vision" with the help of Gaurav, Bhushan.

It is really difficult to categorize the type of music Skylight Vision plays as all the members have diverse influences and Skylight Vision is that common space where all the influences combine which enables us to achieve an unique sound that generally doesn't fall under any particular Genre. However, it is really hard for people to comprehend or digest the concept of "Genre-free" band which makes it even harder to promote. So we have tagged ourselves as a Progressive Pop rock band.


They have released their debut EP in September 2014 digitally on Oklisten and iTunes and have launched it at High Spirits Cafe in October 2014.

In November, they won in Pop genre from all over India for ' MTV RAYBAN NEVER HIDE SOUNDS 2014 SERIES. ' For this, their mentors were Shaair and Func ( Monica Dogra & Randolph Correia )
Shaair and Func mentored and collaborated with the band on one of their songs from the EP ‘ Notional Freedom ‘ as a part of this series.
They have performed along with Shaair and func at The Leather Bar in Chennai and Hard Rock Cafe, Worli for the finale act of this series.

By the end of year 2014, Band has already gained a good amount of listeners through their music and band's motto is to convey emotions through the songs to a wider audience.
