Following the previous successful releases, it's time to put it on again! Coming from the giant Brazilian swamp and compiled by pioneer Dj Sutemi, we are proud to announce the new Forestdelic Night Forest project.
A dedicated sequence compilation only for Brazilian producers is finally out! Marking a connection between Europe and Brazil, it is the result of a distilling materialisation process in which the deepest, hardest and most powerful tunes were carefully selected and used. Sounds from the Tropical Swamp inspired by one of the biggest scenes around the globe, now on Forestdelic Records for all the night-time creatures and freaks.

24 instrumental compositions explore themes of transformation, alienation, and existential anxiety through the lens of lo-fi aesthetics and dark trap. The warmth of Roland's analog synthesizers contrasts with the cold absurdity of modern existence — like Kafka's characters trapped in endless bureaucratic corridors, sounds get stuck between the walls of a tiny room.
The album is a diary of sleepless nights where the boundaries of reality blur, a human transforms into sound, and sound becomes a document of internal trial. Recorded on obsolete equipment in an impossible space, it becomes a testament to how creativity is born not despite limitations, but because of them.

Puna is where the Ecstatic Dance moniker started.  I remember the first CD I burned for Max Fathom, who was vetting me after I offered to play Warmup sets for him.  Near 15 years later, Ecstatic Dance is still a mainstay of the Puna - Hawaii Community.  
I awoke this Sunday morning feeling anxious.  I really, *really* wanted this homecoming set to reintroduce myself to the Community with as much *love* and *passion* as possible.  

This is a recording of the full 2 hour improvised Ecstatic Dance Journey at Hawaiian Sanctuary on 2018/10/14.

In these lockdown days many of us stranded in flats or small spaces need to move their bodies!
Here is a set I recorded some time ago for that purpose, kind of House and more main stream style but keeping Sandesh's touch in it!

So it is once again Yoful behind the decks to represent the Livsnjut Vibe!
This time Yoful invites us straight into the Club with some really groovy Afro/Latin House and Techy vibes. 
He playfully jumps back and forward between Tribalistic drums and really Techy electrical sounds and weaves it all beautifully together with an awesome groove throughout the whole set! 

This is truly a dance-inspired mix and probably one of the Vibes and a very nice preview of what we will hear in the Club this coming winter season!

Sky Makai is one the facilitators of the original Ecstatic Dance on Hawai'i Island. 
A dancer at heart, Sky joined Ecstatic Dance at Kalani Honua in the early days when Ecstatic Dance was only a handful of people and unheard of -  except as a concept in Gabrielle Roth’s seminal book: Maps to Ecstasy 
Sky began providing opening music with Ecstatic Dance’s founder, Max Fathom.  Later, Sky took part in the original Ecstatic Dance Facilitator workshops, becoming one of Kalani Ecstatic Dance's core team of facilitators.   

Staying true to the roots of Ecstatic Dance, Sky's sets observe a distinguishable arc.  These musical journeys pay homage to Gabrielle Roth's influential practice of observing and moving through a “Wave” of musical selections.  The practice involves considering how waves are inherent in all of nature; our life cycles, our relationships, and in our most intimate moments.
Sky’s musical journeys are designed to reach intense and energetic ecstasy while also encouraging introspection and emotional release.
We love Sky’s passion and dedication to our Ritual Community Movement Journey, his dedication to personal growth, and his love of helping others.

Today, Sky is a steward and resident Facilitator of Ecstatic Dance at Kalani Honua, having previously been co-founder of Ecstatic Dance at Honoka’a as well as Ecstatic Dance in Williams, Oregon.
