This bootleg sails somewhere between a smoky harbour bar and a neon-lit island at 3am. I started with the melancholy charm of Koop – “Koop Island Blues”, then laced in the French bossa swing of Saint Privat – “Un Deux Trois”, the hypnotic pulse of Bonobo – “The Plug”, and a touch of classic drama from Engelbert Humperdinck – “From Here to Eternity”.

The idea was to turn Koop’s broken-hearted lullaby into a slow, cinematic journey – something you could play in a tiny seaside café, a rooftop at blue hour, or the last stretch of a long set when people are half-dancing, half-dreaming. Expect brushed drums, lazy basslines, soft French accents, and strings that feel like a farewell wave from the shore.

Play it loud but late, with low lights, good company and a drink that melts slowly. 🌙🌊
