Based in Shropshire, England, Alex’s musical roots trace back to childhood piano tinkering and a lifelong fascination with drum grooves. Growing up through the 90s, he became obsessed with the surge of electronic music and the rapid rise of new music technology. That particular passion led him into years of DJing Trance and House, even adopting CDs and MP3s early in their lifecycle, all fuelled by the dream of the mid-90s Ibiza sound and the producers who shaped it.
After stepping back to raise a family and build real-world stability, Alex returns to production with a renewed sense of purpose and a more refined musical voice. His sound now leans toward chilled, funky and melodic house: tracks built on warm chords, understated grooves and the emotional fingerprints of someone who’s lived a bit. Every now and then he also slips into chilled Drum & Bass, gently returning to the rave-energy that first pulled him into electronic music.
His influences span from Daft Punk, BT and Ben Böhmer to the deeper corners of modern melodic house. Today, Alex creates music that swims in the nostalgia of his early house years with the clarity and craft of a producer who’s come back just a little wiser and more introspective.
