Note: this song is not about 9-11, but about LEADERS in the CHURCH I was attending around that time.

Many sought comfort and answers right after 9-11. What they found at my church was only a power struggle among the leaders. The apathetic flock remained blind to the antics as long as their social clubs were intact.

In hindsight, it is now obvious that this church, just as nearly every church now has in the USA, bought into the selfish teachings of Rick Warren's "Purpose Driven Church" heresy.
