A new album by Julian G. Holland and Schuyler Horton. In September 2021 Julian and I met in a fantastic music licensing course taught by Michael Elsner. We started composing together and 4 months later we finished the 10 tracks that comprise this new album. A couple tracks have brought tears to the eyes of friends as they listened. Spitfire Audio called the track "Water" "Amazing!" Emmy Award winner Brian Katona, called track 4, La Sonriente "Beautiful Work!"

"Julian Sky" is gorgeous piano and instrumental music to lift the spirit.

Tears? Yes. This brought real tears to the eyes of two friends when they listened after this track had just been finished. Julian's beautiful piano playing is incredible and soulful. When creating our music Julian and I would bounce music ideas back and forth through the internet and this is a piece that worked really well, he'd start something on piano, I'd add something and then we'd go back and forth with critiques and adjustments till both of us were happy. Lots of work but also lots of fun. :-) I think this is a piece of beautiful music that lifts the sprit.

Epic, gorgeous, beautiful piano & orchestral music. ♫  The idea for this piece started with a really cool pulse rhythm track that Schuyler made up and then Julian laid down the piano line. Schuyler worked his magic with the orchestration. It has a more epic feel than the first 2 tracks on the album with a great horn section sound. For quite a while, we couldn't find an appropriate title until Julian played the piece for his son Cole and Cole said how about "Of My Love" and the name stuck. Thank you, Cole! We hope you all enjoy it! (Can you tell, this was written by Julian ;-)

Love Music! This is about love and that amazing feeling two people can experience when in love. Julian's piano is so delicate and pure, It was a challenge to create the gentle orchestral textures to lift his gorgeous piano just right. In this haunting and relaxing piano and instrumental music we tried to capture that feeling. Julian's piano playing is delicate and lovely. Not hip hop! Funny story, this actually started off as a hip hop piece, then transformed into this gorgeous uplifting and beautiful piano & orchestral instrumental. I originally created a hip hop beat and sent it to Julian, he added his amazing piano, sent it back, then this piece sat for some months as we both were just not happy with it. Eventually I removed the original rhythmic beat and studied the piano, then started adding orchestral textures till you have what we have here. It's pretty neat how a piece of music will take you all over the place till it finds home. :-)

Sierra by Julian G. Holland & Schuyler Horton - Beautiful Haunting Piano & Instrumental

For 20 years my electronic music and recording equipment sat packed away...

In the spring of 2015 I was given a broken Korg synth, while researching how to repair it I discovered all these wonderful tools for music and recording. I bought Mixcraft Pro Studio and started composing and recording again with the amazing modern tools of today.

In June 2020 I was honored by Acoustica as their "Mixcraft Featured Artist"
In August 2020 I received my first ever music award. To date I've released multiple singles, 11 albums and copyrighted 175 pieces of music. I've had my music performed in concert and watched people weep real tears while listening to my music. All of this since March 2015.
