But today, it arrived and we’re understandably excited to be able to share this with you ahead of both his upcoming performance here this weekend and ahead of the release of his contribution to the eight track MDR Compilation, which is due out on 20th March.

In techno circles, Cassegrain shouldn't need too much of an introduction. With a label résumé that includes, among others, Prologue, Infrastructure New York, Killekill, and Ostgut Ton—as well as highly regarded performances at Berghain, Village Underground, and Output—they've more than stamped their name on the scene. Alex Tsiridis and Hüseyin Evirgen—the two artists behind Cassegrain—formed the project after a chance meeting at the Redbull Music Academy in Barcelona. In the years following, they collaborated remotely via email, sending stems back and forth before making a move to Berlin where they currently share a studio.

Before he took to the stage, Function joked that he needed to crank up the tempo of his set higher than he'd initially planned. It was easy to understand why: he was following AX&P (Adam X and Perc), who'd just battered the crowd with two hours of industrial techno. Armed with, among other things, a TR-909, a laptop, a couple of controllers and a Rane mixer, Function wasn't about to be outdone. He stepped up and delivered a 135 BPM masterclass.

Pfirter welcomes on the 14th edition of the MindTrip Podcast, Berlin's prolific DJ, producer and label owner, Milton Bradley. Growing up in the late 80s, under the influence of acid house & the impact of Belgian Techno, Milton started to shape his sound around electronic music that led him to create his own label  “Do Not Resist the Beat!” in 2008. Constantly searching and experimenting with new sounds he also created the 90s acid-inspired project “Alien Rain” and the ambience project, “The End Of All Existence”, which he premiered live at the Berlin Atonal festival in 2014. Tensal is one of the leading figures on the techno music scene. He is the representative of Pole Group. Together with Kessell he creates one of the most interesting duos - Exium, and also Selección Natural quartet with Reeko and Oscar Mulero (oficial). Besides of the releases on his label and the mentioned Pole Group, Tensala's music can be heard due to Soma and Modularz to name a few. The artist is distinguished by the consistent style and the sound which is characteristic of the Spanish techno scene - galloping kick with dense atmosphere.

The next guest comes to Erratic by way of Amsterdam hailing originally from Italy, Elisa Batti & CYB. They recently launched their own label, Immaterial.Archives, debuting with their second collaboration 'Between Viewers and Spaces', featuring excellent remixes by Michal Jablonski and Wrong Assessment. The duo's sound is diverse and balanced with equal amounts of soothing minimalism as well as raw and pounding techno. As such, their contribution to the series is presented in the same, exact manner: brewing and enchanting the listener during the first half of the journey simply to later unleash an avalanche of much deeper and visceral sonics. Next up is a fantastic artist based out of Vancouver, Canada, whose sound is unique and special, please welcome 747. Active since the middle of last decade, he specializes in the powerful intersection between acid and atmospheric techno. His style is characterized by the 303, his instrument of choice, and his works have all found a home in Aquaregia —a Canadian label based out of Toronto. His last project, While My 303 Gently Weeps EP, came out last week and is a profound, four-tracker testament to his shrewd sound and artistry. And like the release, his contribution to the series is an enthralling, introspective journey —an ode of sorts to sound, situation, and circumstances— that will pass the test of time. Sit back and enjoy the ride!

Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
