2020 SETS

My commitment to techno started at quite a young age. First I played music at school parties and later I performed at different venues in Hungary, like Kashmír club.  At about the age of 15 I threw myself into writing music and started my own label (Cryptic) about 3 years ago. 

In the past few months my music has been released at Soma, one EP at Developerí’s Olympian and one EP at Materia this year. One of my biggest dreams has come true with Soma releasing my EP soon, after two V.A. releases. 
Later this year another EP is going to be released at Airsound records and some other releases are in progess, too. 

My musics have been played by the biggest names in the genre. I have already played music in France, Malta and Vietnam and I hope I can get to a lot of other countries and perform there,too. I have already played music in all the biggest cities in my country and I have a residence in my hometown. In April 2023 I am going to perform at Deadcode Production’s Hyperspace Budapest, a techno festival with a long tradition with a lot of fans coming partying from Hungary and from some neighbouring countries.
 I would like more and more people to get to know me and like with every DJ, my dream is to be able to perform in a lot of different places in the world.

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she has a vision and always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro/Techno in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections. 

She has had an unstoppable start to her production journey, releasing on some of the best Electro labels out there; Burial Soil . CHP Recordings . Censor . Cybersoul . Furatena . Mars Frequency Records . Native Boundaries + Urban Connections with more releases scheduled for 2024. Her latest track "KILONOVA" will be out on Avoidant on 1st March 2024

Hurdslenk, aka Rich Griffin, was first introduced to electronic music in the late ’90s and early 2000s. As an avid clubber, he had the opportunity to experience some of the UK’s most iconic techno institutions.

In 2017, he began a journey into music production. Drawing from his personal influences and adopting a hardware-focused approach, he has developed a distinctive sound—marked by distorted percussion, gritty textures, and relentless rhythms.

His work has since been released on respected labels including Key Vinyl, Hardgroove, Out of Place, Frenzy, Vault Records, and V32.

Galaxian has made a crucial contribution to modern electronic music in the 21st century, de- constructing & turning it on it's head while making bold strides into unexplored territories. Often recognised as a pioneer & innovator, his inventiveness is only surpassed by his ability to mine consistently new seams of sound, rhythms and intricate arrangements. 

More than a decade of authoritative releases on world-class labels & counting Aphex Twin, Mary Anne Hobbs, Helena Hauff & DJ Stingray among admirers, the latter being sometime collaborators. Notable live & DJ sets played worldwide at Boiler Room, Dekmantel, Resident Advisor and key releases on Tresor, BPitch, Ilian Tape, Return to Disorder, Micron Audio and many others & featured in a number of BBC Essential Mixes, BBC Radio 1 + BBC Radio 6 Mary Anne Hobbs. 

Beginning his journey behind the decks long before stepping into production, DJ sets display a reflect a deep well of knowledge and experience. Stylistically mixing style is rooted in a classic old-school approach, completely contemporary in track choices, techniques and performance. Sets are tightly woven, dynamic, incendiary, evocative. 

With recent releases on BPitch and Herrensauna, Galaxian - along with his alter ego Naix - continues to reaffirm his reputation for crafting unconventional yet essential electronic music that resonates in the 21st century and beyond. 

With such an intense output of 5 albums in 3 years it was time to take a long earned rest and consider new sonic avenues, developing new ideas and adopting different sound palettes and production techniques. During this extended period there has been a lot of evolution and shift for the Galaxian and Naix sounds resulting in dozens of new tracks and a few albums worth of material. 

In 2025 Galaxian turned his attention to the sample library world, launching a new platform called Wavkore in late March 2025. Designed to give producers fresh creative possibilities, it offers access to his signature sounds, a curated artist series, and plenty more developments on the horizon.

Ian, a Spanish-born London-based DJ, commenced his career in 1999, initially influenced by the techno rhythms of Berlin.
 
In 2006, he established Emphatic Records, which has since released artists such as Ben Sims, DJ Preach, Cristian Varela, d. Func, Jonas Kopp, Arnaud Le Texier, and numerous others.
 
Ian’s music has been released on labels including Sleaze Records, Children of Tomorrow, BEK Audio, TMM Records, and Black Codes Experiments.

Coming from the jazz scene (and being a classically
trained musician) Ana Kublashvili chose the artist name
Newa when she progressed into the electronic music
field. Newa started out as a DJ in 2012 in her hometown
of Tbilisi, Georgia, quickly making a name for herself
around in the city’s famous nightlife spots. She is a
regular at the world-renowned Bassiani venue, a space
that has given her a foundation to establish her skills on
an international scale. Newa is also a recurring favourite
at Ben Klock’s touring event-series Photon.

It’s almost ironic that since the release of his landmark debut album, 2008’s Shedding the Past, German producer Rene Pawlowitz (a.k.a. Shed) has been viewed a savior of modern techno. His music is wildly unpredictable and doesn’t quite mesh with the genre’s obsession with rigid structure and functionalism. Held up as one of the cornerstones of the world-famous Berlin scene, Pawlowitz clashes sharply with the city’s obsession with dark, steely techno and bright tech-house grooves.
Shed’s musical vision is unaffected by the poisonous purism or close-mindedness that so often lurks in local scenes, especially one as long-established as Berlin’s unparalleled techno community. Instead, his music is colored by a distinct and ravenous hunger for the new and unexplored. Reflecting that hunger, Pawlowitz is uncommonly prolific: On top of nearly 20 releases as Shed, Pawlowitz has also made dancefloor-destroying singles as WAX and Equalized, and has explored a dubbier side as STP and Panamax Project.

La consapevolezza dell'ipnotico, il linguaggio sonoro operato dai Refracted Waves, ci spinge verso ritmi persuasivi creando nuove forme di comunicazione al fine di raggiungere uno stato emotivo nirvanico: "Transe".
Il paesaggio sonoro esplora suoni freddi con sfumature tribali: un viaggio ipnotico, profondo e meraviglioso che evocherà "forme di pensiero sullo spazio ed il tempo", come viene citato dal disco di Dasha Rush "Relativism", presente nel mixato. Il concetto di "Relativismo" all'interno della sperimentazione in ambito Techno porta l'eliminazione della misura. L'ipnotismo è la rappresentazione dei battiti del cuore della vita, il suono architetta nel cervello una percezione audiovisiva tale da evolvere la mente ad un nuovo modo di agire e di pensare. (S)

Ryuji Takeuchi (Local Sound Network / LSN, HueHelix) was born in Osaka, and then first contacted with Electronic Music in the early 90s.
In the late 90s, he moved to the United States, where he discovered Techno, House and Electro Music.
As soon as he got back, he started to DJ at several locations and eventually learned to produce at the same time. After that, he released on such labels as: LK Rec, Arms, Mastertraxx, FK Rec, SWR, Innervate, I.CNTRL, Impact Mechanics, Silent Steps, GSR, Brood Audio, to name but a few.
In 2011, Ryuji started his own imprint called 'Local Sound Network / LSN' as a platform for new generation of electronic sound which following words can appropriately describe: driving,hypnotic, atmospheric, emotional, groovy, funky... and any other aspects that rock from brain to the dance floor under the following statement: 
From local to global...
It exists in order to inspire the world...
Also, Ryuji kicked off another brand new label called 'HueHelix / HHX' as a new platform, which discloses something new,only represented by HueHelix, together with Go Hiyama, Tomohiko Sagae and Kazuya Kawakami, in order to push quality music with global standard from where sun rises.
In 2012, Ryuji launched 'Local Sound Network Digital Solutions / LSNDS'
series in need of discovering and introducing wider range of electronic

Gaetano Parisio, is one of the most consistent artists in techno, releasing records since the 90s that remain staples in every respectable DJ’s record box. Co-creator of the Neapolitan Techno School, he is now prepared to present a GAETEK LIVE and ORIGENS.
Starting as Gaetek, Gaetano (from Napoli, Italy) released a flurry of classics on labels like Planet Rhythm and Primate Recordings, records that were immediately elevated into regular rotation by icons like Dave Clarke, Sven Vath and even Jeff Mills himself.
He soon launched his first label, CONFORM, which quickly became a beacon for the Napolitano techno scene for which Parisio and Marco Carola were now torchbearers.
They became fixtures at the world’s best clubs and festivals with a four-turntable/two-mixer set-up that left crowds screaming for more while their studio work together lead them to befriended like-minded artists like Adam Beyer, Ben Sims, and The Advent, all of whom released music on Conform. During the same time, Gaetano brought the techno scene together on a charity compilation, Techcommunity 4 Kosovo, to aid the children of war-torn Kosovo—a rare and shocking flare-up of violence within the relatively peaceful boundaries of modern Europe.
If Conform was about community, Gaetano’s next label, ART (Advanced Techno Research), was a one-man affair that issued a series of nine limited-edition, precision-crafted, two-track singles, over the span of two years. He continued the conceptual approach to production with the book-inspired Chapter series, released on his new SOUTHSOUL label, which introduced a deep house-flavored techno sound that was eagerly endorsed by DJs of all stripes. Next came the five-part ADAGIO series of minimal tracks (on the label of the same name), which continued Gaetano’s evolution as a producer at the same time techno was reinventing itself for the new Millennium.
In 2007, Gaetano took a step away from the frenetic life of an international DJ. During that time, he continued recording hundreds of tracks for the pleasure of the music intelligentsia, only. In 2017, he moved to Barcelona, Spain and set-up a new studio where he produced brand new music with several collaborators that will be revealed shortly. He also republished the back catalogs of his labels (this time in digital format, too), setting the stage for the new GAETEK LIVE and ORIGENS (a three turntables dj set just as he used to play in the beginning of his career) intended to introduce his 25-year-plus music career to techno’s next generation.

Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
