After many years of appreciating each other’s work Extra Medium & Captain Flatcap have finally got together to fuse their shared taste of vintage sounds and sweet headwear. To create a track in which all proceeds raised from the song go to The Nordoff Robbins charity.  

Nordoff Robbins is a charity devoted to changing lives through Music. Therapy in music was Created by American composer and Paul Nordoff and special education teacher Clive Robbins in 1959. 
The effects of the music therapy, which started initially in children’s homes, were felt early on; it helped the children develop concentration, self-control and increased social and self-awareness. The effects lasted way beyond just the sessions themselves, and demand for Nordoff and Robbins work increased. In 1970 The Nordoff Robbins charity was established going from strength to strength researching and teaching music therapy all over the world. 

Now Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people. And supporting thousands of people through their centres and by working in partnership with a wide range of organisations including care homes, schools and hospitals. 

So please if you have a moment and a bit of spare cash please help us by downloading this song.

Slamboree is a 10-piece live band with a Smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils & entertainers. We take each show as it comes, assembling a different crew from our collective for each show and every gig is very different to the last.

Musically we fuse bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordian, pyrotechnics & circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub & electro swing fused with balkan, folk, and 'gypsy' flavours... all original & all live.

Within this very first year together we've been fortunate enough to perform our live shows at some amazing places such as Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown, Shambala, Beatherder, Kendal Calling and the River Thames in London. 2 x UK DMC Champion, JFB returns to Freshly Squeezed to deliver the follow-up to his ground-breaking WHAT GOES AROUND EP. The 3 new tracks pick up exactly where he left off last time, with more of the same thundering bass sounds and swing-step flavours. But into the melting pot this time JFB throws the scat vocals of long-time collaborator and world famous beatboxer, BEARDYMAN (on the track Swing Ya Beard), together with a showbizzy vintage-brass swing n bass vocal cut (Nobody Else). Combine with the title track Swing Bum (which could easily have been on his first Freshly Squeezed EP) and you get more of the same, only this time turned all the way up passed 11...

No-one drops like JFB (though many have tried since his last EP) and now he's back - sounding dirtier than ever. PLAY LOUD! This is a bomb.
