Nothing Stays The Same

This is a sound/word collage that I have slowly pieced together, over the last few months. The words are from a hand full of my poems and general thoughts that I have collected in my various notebooks. 

I have written and performed music to act as an auditory partner for these words, marrying the two forms.

 The cover is from a word excessive/experiment that I conducted one evening with my friends Luke, James and Georgia. It is a small segment from a larger page.

All parts are played by me, with the exception of the bass, which is played by James Virtue, and some beautiful vocal improvisations from Liv Pearson.

This is a track that took me a while to complete, drawing on feelings of adoration, loneliness, bitterness, lust, desperation and existential angst. 
All instruments are played by me. Mixed and Mastered by me. The photograph is also one of mine. I hope that the feelings I have expressed in this piece of music can provide some solace, catharsis or sonic relief for any of you. I have put a lot of my soul into this one. I recommend you make it to end, if you can ;)
