A special mix from one of the minds behind our third record, so welcome on board @jacopolatini .

Jacopo also known as Jackie, is the co-founder of Taboo Traxx. Now based in Berlin, he continues to hone his profound sound with many releases last year and a lot of new projects coming out in 2021.
He can frequently be found playing his extensive artillery of records at various locations in his native country, or the new city he calls home. Growing up in Bologna played a pivotal role in Jackie's acquired taste in music, surrounded by the surgence of deep house in Italy, he managed to absorb the deep and emotive sound. Something which he is now able to interpret and reflect within his own productions, however maintaining a modern, yet still moving twist.
He has found his element in recent times in the German capital, surrounding himself with creative artists where he can bounce his positive energy and ideas, introducing his personal workflow, whilst simultaneously learning from others. Jacopo sets his sights firmly on a year of pushing his productions, via his own Taboo imprint, and already in the pipeline of Mood Waves.

Without a doubt one of the hardest working creatives in the new breed that is now coming of age Venezuelan artist mari.te has more strings to her bow than an orchestra. Her label Tresydos has graced our pages many times and is already up to the sixth edition as well as three digital VA’s. She is also part of the women-only record label and collective RA+RE that joins their mutual love for music, fashion and that the girls are more than capable of smashing it out with the boys.

Tying into the obvious skills she has behind the decks mari.te is also resident for NYC underground haven ReSolute and is regularly called upon the warm the dance planks to the point of combustion. A prime example of this is her mix for our InSession podcast series where she rolls out blissful house beats, boisterous breaks, and more than a couple of tear-jerking basslines. This is not to be missed…
