Finally Michel de Hey + M.I.R.K.O. returrn to HEY! with a full release.

When Michel once played in a sexclub, the vibe was so intense everybody threw their clothes off. Michel joined in but kept his shorts on due to religious reasons.
While shorts in the booth should be the correct title of this ep, "Naked In The Booth "  seems to catch the imagination of most people more. Musicwise this is a percect hybrid between club and festival techno.
Via a contest HEY! found a superswinging remix by Maxime Johnny. Over 150 remixes were turned in, but his mix was by far the winner, definitely a name to watch in 2014. He will also make his debut on the next HEY! event in Air Amsterdam next to The Martinez Brothers and Michel.

"Some Change Please " is a track for the special moments in the night, where every record that you play seem to hit all the right buttons. It's simply a track that's definitely needed on some nights where you want bring something different....this is the one to play!
Smooth, sexy & melodic, it is all in there, all in all, a very memorable track.

On remix duties Dutch hero Pitto came up with a Sterac influenced remix, full of furious synth stabs. Perfect for clubs, but also for the big techno rooms.

Tchami - Confessions #1

Saline is the third installment in a series of records from Ultramajic boss Jimmy Edgar. While the first part, Hot Inside, represented the element of fire, and its follow-up release, Mercurio, symbolized water, Saline is aligned with earth. It's no accident that the name refers specifically to the earthly compound salt, as desalination is an integral metaphysical process that helps to hone the third eye.

The EP rises from the ashes of Hot Inside and Mercurio with "Burn," a blazing acid-tinged banger that boats dry drums and a strangled wail. The reference to fire in the title suggests the evolution of Edgar's series of singles, while the name of the track "Decalcify" invokes a process closely related to desalination, as both play a role in making the body more attuned to supernatural experiences. Ultramajic's Chicago house influence enticed legendary footwork producer DJ Rashad, who's voice can be heard in the sampled squawk on metallic tune "Walk Show." The final track "Who's Watchin," features Jimmy's own vocal, coy bleep-bloop instrumentation and hissing hi-hats. Taken as a whole, Saline and the other releases in Jimmy's series of dance singles are designed to instigate the processes they allude to and aid in the path of spiritual development.

In 2010 Lo IQ? came storming out of the gates with original releases and remixes on labels such as DJ Icey’s world renown Zone Records and famed UK Label Ground Level Records, which all have reached top tier positions on the top 100 Beatport chart.In early June 2013 Lo IQ? was named #15 on Billboard's Next Big Sound Chart, Reinforcing that Lo IQ?'s sound is headed in the right direction. I was worried I wouldn’t get this done due to gig commitments in South America, but Lost Beach Club in Montañita, Ecuador went out of their way to open up their back room (or “the cave” as they call it) so I could finish the mix. Huge thanks to them as well as all the people who were kind enough to share music with me for this one: Spencer (always), Cratebug, Armand, Ben UFO, Geroge Fitz, Mad Paddy who crashed in our villa in Ibiza, Palms Trax, Jonnie Wilkes and of course Martin Rubadub (also as always).

It's a kind of Tweak-A-Holic 4.5 meets Mastermix 2015 (as I never managed to get tweak #5 done this year, sorry) but it also features a load of the tracks that have been more prominent in my sets this year that a load of people have been asking about, as well as a couple of forthcoming, unreleased Numbers tunes.

The recording includes some surface noise, at few needle skips and more than a few dynamic discrepancies between transitions due to the fact I am attempting to mix 3 decades worth of music and technological mastering advances into 2 hours worth of music.

Florian Kruse started his music career in 2007, with his first vinyl release on Stockholm's Heya Hifi.

Since then, Kruse has only grown as both a producer and a DJ. With Stel Vasiloudis and Nils Nuernberg, he became project Wiretappeur, with releases on Bedrock and a remix for label head honcho John Digweed. Nils Nuernberg quickly became his partner in crime, and together became the production duo Kruse & Nuernberg, their hypnotic Deep House sound making appearances on Liebe*Detail, Noir Music, and Rejected. In 2008 they started their own label, Save Room Recordings, that continues to grow on the underground scene.

A focus now on his own productions, Florian Kruse plunged into a solo career with a release on Anjunadeep, working together with his older brother Vincenzo and one of his long time idols Lisa Shaw. Followed by two releases on Noir Music together with singer Hendrik Burkhard and remixes by Noir himself, Eagles & Butterflies and Pleasurekraft.

Now, Kruse & Burkhard return, this time on Steve Bug's famed Poker Flat Recordings, with their latest, entitled "Move in Slow Motion". After last year's "We Own The Night," the duo continues the vibe with a main mix that exemplifies their masterful production skills. Dark and techy, the track builds and unfolds over seven glorious minutes. Out 12 February, we thought we would bring in Florian to provide a very special mixtape to coincide with the release, as well as picking his brain a bit regarding the creative process behind the Noir EP and his fruitful collaboration with Hendrik Burkhard.
