Birthed at the City Church of Compton, ReNew’s purest desire on this earth is to worship God by speaking life into a hurt and broken world. Every time a fan buys music from ReNew, a percentage of the proceeds directly supports the church's work with inner-city youth. Representing seven unique stories of grace, this eclectic band of fellows is gifted with a multi-talented guitarist in the person of B-Ramos (Bernard Ramos). Tickling the ivories is David Urquhart better known as D-Praise; vocals and lyrics are delivered by T-roy (T. Robert Taylor Hicks), while percussion and production are created by the industry’s very own S.L.A.P. J. of The Bos Angeles Recording Group, LLC. Carl Benons (CJ) does practically everything; he sings, produces, engineers, arranges and plays multiple instruments.  On the drums J-Boogie (Jeff Thomas) is exceedingly nice with the rhythm & sticks, while Braulio Murillo delivers smooth & funky bass lines and vocals; we call him B-Smoov. ReNew is currently in the studio creating new songs for their sophomore project.  ReNew. It's music for the soul.
