Standing united against social exclusion in order to contest cultures of isolation, racism, and discrimination, R4R organizes grassroots resistance and campaigns against the oppression of refugee communities in Germany and Europe enabling freedom of movement for the most marginalized. The compilation is free, but all proceeds will go directly to the Refugees4Refugees network.

LUXE & Tom Place are next up with their collaborative ‘Moonquake’ EP. The signature cross genre influences can be heard in the off kilter percussion, laid on top of bassy cuts, with subtle trance influences permeating throughout. A bold way to close out another year of releases on Dansu Discs.

The next contributor to our radio is none other than Reece Walker (FKA, Carmel). Reece is Producer, DJ and Label Owner of R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings along with co-running the labels QC Records, Breakfree Records & Bitterfeld Musik. 

He has been making music since he was a teenager in rock/folk bands but starting producing electronic music around the age of 22. Moreover he had always been collecting records since he was a teenager, but didn't start DJing until the age of 23 - which is now 10 years ago. 

At the moment he has been enjoying producing and DJing tech-house, progressive house and minimal but over the years (and still to this day) has played everything from Detroit techno, electro, ambient and disco - as long as it's groovy and/or has a bit of emotion he is generally into it! 

His last gigs have been at Zur Klappe (Berlin), IFZ for NYE/NYD and Distillery (Leipzig) to name a few. Upcoming he has got several R.A.N.D. Muzik parties, the first is for example at Neue Welle on 24th Feb., so mark your calendars!

In her own words: "I recorded this mix in winter dreaming of warmer days and sunny raves. One and a half hours full of energy driven stompy tunes that release huge euphoria in me. Brooklyn duo Infinite Monkey Theorem's output matches electronic and instrumental influences to craft music aimed at the dancefloor. There's obvious doffs of the cap to IDM, breakbeat and leftfield club sounds but also elements of shoegaze, free jazz and soundsystem music bubbling up under the surface.

For their new release, ChimpGPT, the pair share five tracks of off-kilter club cuts laced with guitars and hypnotic bass lines. And it's all for a great cause too - they're donating all proceeds from the release to UN Women, the UN organisation who do important work to protect women's rights and end violence against women across the world.
