Besides being a DJ & graphic designer, multifun (@multifun) is the name & face behind Multimix - a project and platform for everyone who loves music. Serving a diverse range of genres and styles, the Multimix series is intended to push against the status quo of mostly male dominated music platforms, with the idea of providing musical subcultures not only with a space in general, but also a chance to be seen & heard. Multimix tries to provide a representative image of what mixing, producing and throwing parties can look & feel like.⁣
With the diversity issues that music & our communities face, it is easy to understand why FLINTA & BIPOC will always be considered first on multifun's platform. She's joined by a good friend of hers - skillful & brilliant selector Chris (@_dj_chris_) - for the second hour of this month's Empty Container episode. ⁣

@Thebeemixx is a music producer & DJ who was born and raised right outside NYC. Her travels have shaped her collection, and she loves weaving together different genres to create a unique tapestry of sound. As a resident of NYC based queer collective XOXA @xoxanyc , she’s been known to tear up dance floors in the underground & queer scene all over the city at venues such as Le Bain, House of Yes, Nowadays, Elsewhere, Good Room & more. 
She recently self-released an EP and you can find her bangers in the mix. Have a good listen!

Takseer started this year as event series that promotes electronic vibes with emerging artists from diasporas and beyond contributing to a cross-cultural exchange. Through a series of club nights launched during 2022 in Berlin, has opened a spectrum that invited the audience to explore and experience eclectic electronic music with hints to different cultures but mostly arabic oriented.

Coming from the bass, dubstep, jungle and grime genre Shannon from Munich is now leaning towards more experimental forms of bass-centered but also genre-defying music. This shift occurred because she is looking for spaces in sound that make it possible to stress the power that quiet and off grid sounds can have on the percipient’s body both in and outside the club context.

Markham Road is a simulated concept acting as an ode to the radio DJ... Looking back to the concept of playing music for listening. To create an atmosphere that the listener can then choose how to use. Once a month, sometimes once every two months set up by @westdaledan

Glow is the initiator of the micro-festival Forest Zoom and a DJ associated with the Bajkonur group. He has played at many independent clubs in Warsaw, such as Pogłos, Chmury, and Plan B. In his sets, he combines broken bass sounds with hyperpop, donk, acid and 4/4. Sometimes naive in his approach to life, he is always ready to experiment and discover unknown sounds, which always surprises his audience. Outside of the club he is a designer and runs the Reishidesign brand, which produces lamps made out of mushroom composite.

You’ll meet him on his weekly tours through Berlin’s record shops diggin’ the crates as deep as possible. Beside, he also curates various events from Berlin to Augsburg with a few close friends. With "Dusche" he wants to return to the classic understanding of party: "Music doesn't have to be a business. We should use it to exchange interpersonal ideas and feelings. Responsibility."
