For the 6th installment of Empty Container on @radio80000, we have lined up for your enjoyment no other than @sachsentrance's The Jakob Sisterz (@thejakobsisterz) with support by main honcho 1uke (@luckycb), streaming now on our SC channel.

The Jakob Sisterz are inseparable & and here to stay, equipped with a nostalgic name stemming from the same country music quartet hailing out of Saxony's Schmannewitz. Known for their eclectic shows, the sonic scope encompasses anything from Trance & Acid over to Hardstyle.
Acting as initiators & resident DJs of the event-series/ now turned fashion & vinyl label Sachsentrance, they don't take themselves too seriously - neither should all of us.

We're excited to have them aboard - make sure to peep their freshman 12" Sachsentrance 001 & check em out to get a feel for what's still to come your way!

Empty Container #7 w/ The Jakob Sisterz & 1uke - 19 April 2021

The ninth installment of Empty Container is going to be live tomorrow 12-2 pm CET on @radio80000. This time @femmebassmafia boss @dangermami and friends will be live for you with two hours of sonic entertainment :
First up is Dangermami and DJ Nortside present "Beans Per Minute" – the power couple's first collaborative B2B (Back to Beans) intended to illustrate their shared appreciation for baked beats. A traditional trajectory is plotted from Ghetto House to Jungle, visiting Juke & Footwork along the way including a couple of @raiders_records classics and unreleased tunes. So get your can opener and crack open this heinz energy set as they prepare to bean the system in the sauciest possible fashion.
For the back half, @he-duh is going to play breaks and bass music combining leftfield electro and techno. She’s part of the team around Berlin-based DJ Livestream platform @capsule-berlin and will treat your ears with a sarcastic blend of shapeshifting elements and bass-heavy beats to keep you on your toes and obviously make you dance - duh.

@acidheavenn, hailing from Granada and now based out of Berlin, owns an eclectic style that ranges from the most notorious UK Garage over to 90s-style Spanish sounds, creating a fusion of broken rhythms, electro-breaks and '00s vocals.  You better get ready to sweat - standing still is not an option. 

@djyumyum is an electronic musician from Leipzig. Besides cheap instant food and the world revolution, he is mostly interested in modern, ravey, fast, and experimental electronic sounds which he produces, digs, and tries to spread within his community. Having a background in jazz music, he push complex yet substantial music in an effort to remind each and everyone of us about the radical roots of Rave. Check out his new release on PH17

Spending time in Zurich & London prior to now being based in Berlin, we've quickly grown fond of the @netilradio host and multifaceted talent DJ AYA (@lilianbencze). Blessing us & the airwaves with a bassy, rumbling & resonant session for the first half of our monthly residency on @radio80000, our very own 1uke (@1uke_k) makes his first label-apprearance of the New Year & takes over the frequencies for the latter half of our show, inviting us aboard a playfully melodic voyage through his recent digging explorations. ⁣⁣

Besides being a DJ & graphic designer, multifun (@multifun) is the name & face behind Multimix - a project and platform for everyone who loves music. Serving a diverse range of genres and styles, the Multimix series is intended to push against the status quo of mostly male dominated music platforms, with the idea of providing musical subcultures not only with a space in general, but also a chance to be seen & heard. Multimix tries to provide a representative image of what mixing, producing and throwing parties can look & feel like.⁣
With the diversity issues that music & our communities face, it is easy to understand why FLINTA & BIPOC will always be considered first on multifun's platform. She's joined by a good friend of hers - skillful & brilliant selector Chris (@_dj_chris_) - for the second hour of this month's Empty Container episode. ⁣

Empty Container #18 w/ multifun & Chris - 21 Februar 2022

This week we're happy to welcome two Brooklyn-based powerhouses to the none/such family. Going back 2 back and track 4 track for two hours, sobolik (@tomsobolikmusic) and Alana (@lanaspinsrecords) bring some serious groove to our monthly residency on Radio80k.

sobolik has been making waves as an up and coming producer and DJ in the northeast: from a recent feature in DJ Mag's "Fresh Kicks" series to releases on labels like early reflex, All Centre and 3024, they're prepped for a massive 2022 and show no sign of slowing down. Their b2b partner is Alana, a mainstay of Brooklyn dance music and former Bossa Nova resident. Alana's approach to digging delivers with forgotten deep cuts and hidden gems. From New York to Munich, this episode of Empty Container serves up two of Brooklyn's finest as springtime approaches.

This week we invite members of Philadelphia-based collective Odd Domain to join the none/such family. Four rapid and expertly curated sets ranging from hyper-pop to speedy techno promise to give our transatlantic community a taste of what the east coast has to offer.

For years, keenanfromlimbo (@keenanfromlimbo) has been a known figure in the Philadelphia DIY scene - organizing a number of underground events and providing opportunities artists and DJs to perform. This time, we get a taste of his released and unreleased catalogues, showing off a diverse array of sounds, textures, and rhythms.⁣

JEWELSSEA (@jewelssea) is an electronic musician and DJ based in Philadelphia. Soulful, sometimes spacey melodies and groovy drum breaks drive their sound. Styles include house, techno, UKG, jungle, Baltimore and Jersey club, r&b, and trap blends (at times, all in one set).⁣

Desamores (@aeron-colmenar) is Philadelphia based DJ mainly spinning techno/DnB—this set promises serious rhythms and wicked grooves.⁣

Ky must die (@user-480626961) gives us a tracklist for those who desire constantly and need to feel sensual at all times (or else...) ♡⁣

With this lineup, we’re thrilled to introduce a cutting-edge roster of musicians, producers, and DJs offered by one of the most eye-catching Philadelphia collectives. 💞💞💞

Empty Container #20 w/ keenanfromlimbo, JEWELSSEA, Desamores, & ky must die - 18 April 2022

Naitwa is a Leipzig based DJ who is part of the collective “nice 4 what” (@nice4whatcrew) representing house music and organizing like minded events. She is also a member of “Petrola” (@petr.ola) crew from Leipzig and is involved in the regular event series DRIVE at Institut fuer Zukunft. Her heart truly belongs to house music in its various forms – tech, prog, 90s to early 2000s or nu skool breaky stuff to dub and Detroit techno– Naitwa loves to spin them all. As you might notice, old school vocals make her weak – at alltimes.

PJ takes you on a sonic trip through rainy soundscapes with a steadily driving submission for this month's Empty Container. The Leipzig based DJ has his fingers in every pie over town and explores his own raw style in his conceptual mixes and his original productions. Watch out for some fresh unreleased stuff.

DJ Hyaluron is a stellar, promising & up-and-coming DJ from the depths of what the city of Berlin has to offer. Collecting rave experience for the past years, she actively pivoted to the other side of the booth by picking up DJing to express herself in a way that encapsulates her love for club culture, breakfast & high-NRG 💘

KAFKAA is the formerly defunct, now revived love-project of none/such founders  Chlorine (@chlorine.de) & No Author (@_noauthor). Estranged for years between the cities of Philadelphia and Berlin, this Ann Arbor duo reunites for a once in a blue moon feature, playing everything from Jersey Club, Trance over to deconstructed Young Thug edits 💋
