Music Mykel '(S)Laughter' Dunn is a 22 year-old music producer, songwriter and sound engineer. He is the managing director at (S)Laughter Productions and the Granary Studios.
Music has always followed Mykel through life, and it has shaped his education. After receiving both a City &amp; Guilds and a Higher National Diploma in music production, he went on to read a BA Honours degree in Creative Music Production. As an undergraduate at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Mykel has developed an impressive understanding and expertise in sound design, music theory, engineering and production.

Mykel is a producer at heart, but has more recently focused on his songwriting ability. Not limiting himself to a set genre, Mykel has successfully written and produced songs for up and coming artists such as dRu, Ricky Charles, Sorcha Kelly, Forever Spontaneous, Danny Who, Winderz, Always Amateur, hardly heroes, Ed jones, Gazelle, M.L.P, Holding the Zero, 4th Wall, Stray Dogs and Matt Wright among others. Mykel has also recently had the opportunity to write for the US X Factor through links with SyCo/Sony Music.
A life-long interest in music has always driven Mykel to pursue a career in music, and his interest does not stop simply at music production. Everything from performing, instrumentation, music videos, music business and the psychology of music are all at the center of Mykel’s creatively curious mind. Mykel is mindful for the next opportunity and direction he can work towards, in a bid to secure a deep understanding into the wide music industry landscape.

Zomboy came crashing head first into 2016 with the game changing single ‘Like A B*tch'. Taken from his hotly anticipated Neon Grave EP, the track became the go-to set opener for the likes of Skrillex, DJ Snake and almost every bass DJ at Ultra 2016.  

While the EP Crushed the charts, the 'Neon Grave' tour saw Zomboy sell out venues all over North America and has set the tone for an incredible 2016 for the producer.
 
Never one for slowing down, he's since remixed the Chainsmokers' huge crossover hit ‘Don’t Let Me Down’, and has embarked on his annual festival run, destroying crowds one by one with his inimitable energy and stage presence

Alex has been recording, producing and making music for over 15 years. 
In 1998, whilst living in Newbury, Alex worked for the legendary pedal steel player Gerry Hogan (founder of Hogan’s Heroes) at his music store, in-between playing with his own band Yield. 

Yield won several competitions, which led to recording sessions at the Courtyard Studio in Abingdon, as well as the opportunity of providing tour support for the bands, Funeral For A Friend and Hell Is For Heroes. 
After moving to Weymouth in 2002 he studied Music Technology and quickly became addicted to the recording process and quickly lead him to devote his endeavours to its study 

In 2004 Alex started working at Finn’s Bar, one of the top live venues in the southwest and became their in-house engineer. At Finn’s he would set up, maintain and run the PA most weekends and still goes back occasionally to fill in. He provided live sound for hundreds of bands including some of the top tribute acts in the country and received an education in the school of everything metal. 

Wanting to pursue a career in the music industry, He studied for the Higher Diploma in Music Production at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, for which I gained a Distinction. He continued his studies and last year completed my degree in Contemporary Music Production at ACM. During his first year he became involved with several bands and had releases with the metal band Wakeham’s Terrortory, which received good reviews in Powerplay magazine. 

Most recently he has completed tracks for ACM songwriters Danny Leigh and James Kelly, the latter of which has recently enjoyed airtime on BBC Radio. 

In september 2011 Alex started assisting at The Chapel Studios in London under the guidance of composer/producer Steven Williams.
