Watching You (Single Version)

Kicked off my DJ journey back in ‘82—when it was all about pure vinyl. No instant loops, no auto-sync, just raw skill. Cue points? We made our own using White Out or painter’s tape to drop the needle right where we needed it.

Scratching back then was a whole different game. You needed finesse to keep the needle from bouncing all over the place. We’d throw a coin on the headshell, max out the anti-skate, and dial in the tonearm weight just right to lock that groove in.

And yeah, dust on the needle was the enemy. A spray bottle with water was a must—just enough mist to clear the static without killing the vibe mid-track.

Man… those were the days.
