Nothing On Me

Most of my time, as a computer based musician, i've become obsessed with the idea that i'm completly dependent on machines 
to achieve perfection.. the computer is always right, the grids are the correct measure, the bpm must be respected etc..but 
at a certain point i began to close my eyes and produce what i wanted, no grids, no bpm and when i did that, it opened an endless sea of possibilities, where there were moments, filled with "imperfection" that, to me, sounded perfect!

My name is 13472429, I'm a hybrid programmed mechanic, updated in the field of automation. My autonomy is 2036 battery cicles and I've lived 1687 of it.
Since the major upgrade which consisted of the implementation of the C.E.C (cognitive enhancement chip), which was mandatory according to the article number 309 in the international government's new constitution.
I've noticed that my thoughts are limited. I can no longer associate other individuals to my life... I was born human but can't process the family / friends concept. I can't feel compassion, love or hate.
With each trimestral digital upgrade, I am becoming more and more the machine that was supposed to assist me, to "suppress the human limitations" as they are constantly announcing on the network.
I've found an illegal program on the anonymous market that hacks the chip, allowing you, for a very short period of time, to access past memories and emotions, making you cry and recording "it" so you can experience "it" later.
I've never cried. Some say it lasts for a maximum of 3 minutes and it can never be used again because it triggers an alert system that causes an immediate shut down of the brain's functions, which leads to death.
There are extremely rare cases where one can die on the first attempt.
This is a very expensive program and I've been saving parts from my daily function in order to exchange for it.
 
I've succeeded. I have the program in my hand, the fear of death is nothing compared to the anxiety of my first and last cry... loading...

Human Afterall - Cyberpunk

Anyone that has attended their parties can attest that there is something very special about this underground midweek mangle. It's the winning formula of diverse freaks, organized chaos and Blond:ish's genre defying sets that has them still holding their monthly residency since 2008. 

This duo rides off each other’s hefty musical knowledge and flawless technique with their diverse personas only adding to the intrigue. Anstascia’s unruly demeanor and creative spark spirals against Vivie-Ann’s scientific and geek-chic flair in a whirlwind of inspiration and contrast. The result is a force to be reckoned with, a vibe that effortlessly transcends in the studio, behind the booth and more than anything, to the dancefloor.
