The Sleazebag MC (commonly known as TN), is London Rave Scene’s Triple Threat. 

He’s an absolute lyrical genius, who meticulously produces his own sound and will mix’n’blend DNB, Jungle, Garage, 4X4 and anything that tickles the ear.

A true Londoner at heart, you can either catch him decked out in Stüssy - mic in hand spitting the cleanest bars, or dancing by the rig with a sharp stank face.

TN’s sound is heavily influenced by the music he was bought up around - consisting of Old School Hip Hop, 90s rap, Reggae, Soul and Disco

At age 15 he discovered his passion for rapping  due to being influenced by American rappers such as Wu-tang, Run the Jewels, Eminem, Logic, Kendrick, and Childish Gambino 

It wasn’t til the following year that he was turned onto ‘Brit hop” Basically just the same old Boom Bap beats that reminded him of childhood but with a Brit screaming down the microphone instead of a Yank
Suddenly something clicked and he was able to express himself more and be himself on the track in his own voice without trying to emulate the US sound.

The next big step in his evolution came when Sleaze discovered the wonders of Drum and Bass with the likes of Jungle cakes, Tramatik and Harry Shotta.
With the tempo being roughly double that of hiphop and the same beautiful amen break from his childhood Sleaze’s already existing bars fit just right over the top of a skatty rhythm.
Soon he was out every weekend at events like PDM, LGS and Ravers Purge, eating up the music and branching out into other subgeneres.

At this time however he still considered himself as a rapper even landing a role in a film called Kensal Town about young rappers in NW10, where he created multiple original pieces, in character, especially for the Film.
Durning the production TN met other artist and Mc V4ly and soon after ended up at a Semtex free party that V4 was Mcing. 
After which he came to a realisation : Being a rapper is way easier than being an MC!

It’s one thing to have your bars written down and in your head but if you can’t freestyle then you’re gonna run out of written words after five minutes.

From that moment on Sleazebag was committed to improving as an MC, changing focus from multi-syllable complex rhymes to flow and cadence, bringing his shitty little mic with him to any event he attended with the hopes of plugging it in and getting to spit without ever seeing his name on a flyer.
This process annoyed many a promoter but helped him gain experience and friends in the scene.

Flash forward to today and Sleazebag is a resident Mc for the inclusive rave group Jungyals and Gays making a safe space at rave for everyone from any race, creed, gender or sexual orientation and highlighting gay and female talent who might otherwise be overlooked or discriminated against by other organisers.
He still gets giddy seeing his name on a flyer and being paid for his time is a huge bonus.

Sleaze is making and breaking his way into being one of the top MC’s of our time, perfectly encapsulating what it means to have original sound, with unique bars and a nostalgic sense of style n flavour.
