You’ve probably seen his name pop up on labels such as Transparent Audio  , Delt9 and the new DNB label, Outline. Resslek’s weighty wobbles and deep subs are a serious trademark so I’m 110% you’ll be seeing that name here, there and everywhere in the coming years, I’m willing to bet on it. 💷

Today on the show I am welcoming the long awaited feature from my good friend Aqai.
Aqai is an up and coming producer & DJ hailing from Bournemouth and living in London.
After cutting his teeth on the local scene, he turned his head to the more soulful, deep and techy sounds of the underground.
He also works under a second alias, collaborating with Bristol based Bleach to create ‘BrassTax’. 
Expect some quick fire blends, soulful selections, all topped off with some fresh dubplates! He is a resident of the Unorganised Ostrich crew which have been about for a while now running some serious underground events where he has showcased his talents.

was originally gonna be on a compilation album but i changed my submission. thought i'd upload it here instead.

    Music was a part of his life from the very beginning. Being exposed to all styles of music as a child, from motown, to classic rock, to the early years of Hip Hop, it’s no wonder he has such passion for finding and sharing new, and different music. He started preforming when he was 4, playing the piano. He found electronic music in ‘95, and from the start fell in love with Jungle. Wanting to share his findings, the next logical step was to start DJing, and by ‘97 was playing at Plush, and The Infinity Soundstage, as well as other clubs around Baltimore. Since then, he’s played from Va. To Pa., for comapnies like B.A.D.ass Raves and 3D Productions, and won some contest along the way too. He’s put out a number of mixtapes, starting back when they were tapes, and still going to this day with his digital mixes.

    His sets share with the crowd sick, drum edits, and filthy basslines, but most of all, soul! You may catch him rinsin’ out the hottest ragga track or the newest Hip Hop remix, and the next time he’s vibin’ with some smooth dubstep, and liquid DnB. He’s a vinyl junkie, so he’s got tons of classics to throw into the mix too. Years of practice has perfected his craft, so he can flip the style at the drop of a dime. You won’t know what’s comin’ next, but be sure it’ll flow.
