01 Burning Boats

Sleepers in Metropolis is a Parisian band founded in 2013 by Kevin Jonson and Aldous Constantin. Their electro-acoustic music mingles krautrock, disco and progressive electro with an oriental touch to create ethereal atmospheres. The profound sound of the MS20, the metallic warmth of the trumpets and the use of melancholic voices can embark us on an introspective journey as much as in a collective euphoria. ‘Sana’ recalls the humid and sensual ambiance of Istanbul’s nightlife. ‘29 mai’ could be the soundtrack of an intergalactic flying carpet trip. SIM wants to explore all the music galaxies with sincerity.

Sleepers in Metropolis est un collectif parisien fondé en 2013 par Kevin Jonson et Aldous Constantin. Leur musique électro-acoustique n’a pas de port d’attache. Elle mélange des influences krautrock, disco et électro progressive avec des couleurs orientales nous plongeant dans une atmosphère fantasmagorique. 
La profondeur d'un MS 20, la chaleur métallique des trompettes, les voix mélancoliques qui appellent à voyager, composent les chapitres d’une aventure tantôt collective tantôt introspective. "Sana" se danse dans la chaleur moite des clubs d’Istanbul ; "29 mai » pourrait s’écouter seul sur un tapis volant intergalactique. Sleepers in Metropolis veut explorer toutes les galaxies musicales avec sincérité.
