Starting out on Vinyl in the year 2000, Shylo is a true pioneer in the scene being one of the first female DJ's to be booked regularly in the Mother City and South Africa.

During the years 2003 to 2008, she resided in the UK, a period that afforded her the privilege of sharing stages with today's industry titans. Moreover, it provided her with unforgettable experiences performing in the vibrant Ibiza scene.

A dynamic and versatile force behind the decks, Shylo draws inspiration from the variety of genres that define the city’s festival and clubbing environment. From the groovy beats of disco, the soulful melodies of organic and progressive house, to the pulsating baselines of indie and melodic techno, Shylo seamlessly weaves together sounds that resonates deeply and leaves a lasting impression.

Fuelled by her infectious passion for music and her innate understanding of its transformative potential, her sets are curated with a singular purpose: to unite and uplift the spirits of her audience.
