Slow pads and reverberations build up over a soft rhythm section, featuring sharp hats and shakers, while FM basses revolve underneath, creating a much desired motion, where notes start to shatter and turn into noise. 
On top, lies a beautiful, dream evoking lead synth, moving between layers of atmospheric overdubs. 

Imagine yourself walking through a forest, with crushing autumn leaves under your feet, watching the late afternoon sun infiltrate through the high pine leaves, creating a golden atmosphere and bathing in light your surroundings.

PREMIERE: Joan Alvarez - Shift (Olffmann Remix) [Palace Records]

A faixa ‘Lenda’ é fruto da união entre dois grandes talentos: Spuri, nome já conhecido por quem acompanha a Prisma, e L_cio, que assina pela primeira vez conosco. A Música narra uma historia que começa com uma envolvente melodia guiando nossos ouvidos através de uma misteriosa atmosfera, onde elementos rítmicos são progressivamente apresentados até chegarmos a um pequeno break, nos dando a sensação de que algo extraordinário acontecerá, quando de repente nossa melodia guia desaparece e a escuridão toma nosso horizonte, surge de longe uma sedutora voz feminina, pouco a pouco nos hipnotizando com suas repetidas falas apaixonadas, enquanto isso percussões orgânicas e drones sombrios sorrateiramente nos carregam até ao clímax da nossa experiência: o toque quente de um rolling bass com cutoff oscilante associado a baterias de alta velocidade de uma maneira que nos deixa estonteados! A partir dai os elementos vão aos poucos se dissolvendo, até que por fim nossa melodia guia reaparece e nos acompanha até a próxima jornada.

O EP também inclui a faixa ‘Upsydown’, assinada exclusivamente por Spuri, que apresenta uma paisagem mais séria e futurista, batidas fortes, synths brilhantes, vocal marcante e break altamente energético!

The track 'Lenda' is the result of the union between two great talents: Spuri, a name already known by those who follow Prisma, and L_cio, who signs for the first time with us. The music tells us a story that begins with an engaging melody guiding our ears through a mysterious atmosphere, in which rhythmic elements are progressively presented until we reach a small break, giving us the feeling that something extraordinary will happen, then when our guiding melody suddenly disappears and darkness takes over our horizon, a seductive female voice appears from far, slowly mesmerizing us with her passionate speech, meanwhile, organic percussions and dark drones sneaky carry us to the climax of our experience: the warm touch of a rolling bass with oscillating cutoff associated with high-speed drums in a way that makes us dizzy! From there, the elements gradually dissolve, until at last our guiding melody reappears and accompanies us until the next journey.

The EP also includes the track 'Upsydown', signed by Spuri, which features a more serious and futuristic landscape, strong beats, brilliant synths, memorable vocal, and highly energetic break!

Vagabond returns with the 8th edition of its very own various artist series. Featuring 4 tracks tested by label boss Greg Ignatovich, the 'Vagabond 08 Ibiza' aims to champion upcoming talents and promises to take the listener on a sun-kissed journey. Opening up the record is Imar's 'This Time',
a compelling and emotional melodic anthem with captivating vocals by Meital De Razon. Up next are newcomers Konnekt, with 80s disco influenced 'Cosmic Dust' that could set the fire on any dancefloor. The third track comes from the Greek, Haris Efstathiadis, who is back on Vagabond after a long time with his dark and dizzy 'Sand & Stars', a Melodic Techno track for those late hours at the club. Closing the release is our very own Joseph Carlo, who delivers one more hypnotic and dreamy masterpiece to our brand, titled 'Nebuchadnezzar'

Konnekt - Cosmic Dust

We all like the big, solid behemoths of tracks, but sometimes we like to go deep. Crawl our way in the deepest caverns of the musical soundspace and search away down under for the most obscure and hidden gems. This is where we find our Wild Cards. 

In this edition we have Raphael Mader, underrated but never out-grooved in Deliverance. A solid melodic affair with a gliding lead that will get stuck in your head for days. 

Naji Arun returns again with an additionally worthy affair called Serenity. 

Some undiscovered gems are the guys from Tulum with their debut Jovian, a delicious groover, perfect to set the tone of the night. Keep your eyes on these two, you'll be hearing more from them on Pursuit. 

On closing duties, we have Soul Brucke from Argentina, with For The Planet. A delicious closer for when the sun finally goes down. You might not know these artist yet, but you never know when you need to draw that Wild Card.

After his debut on Pursuit's Wild Cards, Baardman cooked up a sensational debut EP 'Lost Without Hope'.

The EP is rounded up by 2 remixes. The first one is from Hungarian newcomer Justrice who is know for his unique melodic tracks.

The second remix is done by Elusive Mind from Holland. With one EP on Pursuit already under his belt, Elusive Mind is a close associate of the label who has more new tracks coming out soon.

The EP is closed out by the more moody track 'Exposed Thoughts' which sees Baardman take his listeners into a darker territory.
