It's a cute connection with myself and other times, it's amazing to dive in those old memories and realize how much have changed since then. 

Join me and my friend Fabian Tombers with this active listening session mixtape from summer 2020 🌌


Description: 
During that magical vacation with friends, we decided to create an intimate and engaging experience through music. We gathered together for an active listening session, where we shared moments of cosiness, dreaminess, and pure fun. We put mattrasses everywhere, and there was enough space for everyone to float away and even fall asleep. 💭
The atmosphere was charged with excitement, and the music became the soundtrack to our collective memories. 
In this mixtape, you'll find fusion of ambient and electronic sounds.

As you listen, you'll be transported back to those warm summer nights, surrounded by loved ones, laughter, and the pure joy of being in the moment. Each track represents a fragment of the memories we made, and we hope they resonate with you as much as they did with us. 💘

Music is magical, old mixtapes are magical - they can transport you to some older feelings and you really feel them again ~

For Sophie Rowley's solo exhibition REPETITION IS A FORM OF CHANGE at Looiersgracht60 in Amsterdam, Mathilde Neuville crafted a soundscape that weaves together bespoke compositions and tracks Sophie Rowley often works to.
The sound collage explores repetitive patterns and incorporates organ and Christian canons, evoking a sacred atmosphere that resonates with Sophie Rowley’s religious upbringing.
The piece was premiered at Looiersgracht60 on September 21st, 2024 at 4 pm, following a 15-minute composition by Berlin-based sound artist Rami Abi Rafi.
