Roberto B (@mgxloop and @volt5000 and I are glad to present "Let There Be Peace!", as track 9 in our collaborative album in progress since the start of 2022. We hope you'll enjoy it.

The track was created in collaboration on 14, 19, 21 February and 9 March 2022 (initial and subsequent mix and recording in GarageBand and Logic Pro by Alex M) and 8, 9 and 10 March 2022 (further additions, arrangements, and final mix and recording in MAGIX by Roberto B), and posted here on SoundCloud on 10 March 2022 (by Alex M).

The artwork cover for the track is based on a photo taken by Alex M on 28 August 2021 and cropped and annotated with text by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 9 March 2022 - in coordination and agreement with Roberto B.

" When Evil Came" - Evil has reached Ukraine from a nearby country. How can these neighbors use so much violence on Ukraine? The modern war harvests many victims and the children are hit very hard both physically and mentally! It's awful! Stop the war !! I suspect that common folks in the invading country haven't got a clue of the happenings in Ukraine!!??

När gryningen når våra sinnen och vi vaknar upp
med fågelsång som når vår själ och vi vaknar upp
till vad som sker när ondskan den blommar
och våra tankar de går till dom som lider

Det är så svårt att begripa hur nån människa kan bli
så himla ond som nu vi ser hos detta grymma folk
som tror sig om att kunna göra precis som dom vill
med andra människor som bor intill deras eget land

Hela världen fördömer vad de gör - hur ska framtiden bli
kommer de att bli förlåtna någon dag och bli behandlade
med all respekt som de säkerligen önskar

When Evil Came

When dawn reaches our senses and we wake up
with birdsong reaching our soul and we wake up
to what happens when the evil it blooms
and our thoughts they go to those who suffer

It's so hard to understand how a human being can become
as very evil as now we see in this cruel people
who think they can do exactly what they want
with other people living next to their own country

The whole world condemns what they do - what will the future be like
will they be forgiven some day and be treated
with all the respect they certainly desire
but time is running out - how will they manage?

Eccentric Jam(Short cut ver)

Kind of a weird one. Part of a new album I've been uploading, featuring compositions written over the last several months of 2021. If anyone can pinpoint what all of these compositions have in common, musically-speaking, put it in the comments - there was a concept tying everything together but I'm not going to reveal what it was, haha.

This album is going to be called "Prohibited Topics," a tribute to the textbook authors and teachers whose work is being disrupted by right wing efforts to stifle education about racial disparity and structural racism in the US. These compositions weren't written with this subject matter in mind, full-disclosure, but the album has now been named in response to this issue and will be dedicated to educators, and to truth, which will win in the end despite efforts to silence it.
